It's been six years and counting since the 9/11 debacle altered the landscape. Our state-controlled corporate media still persists in clinging to the ludicrous "conspiracy theory" that 19 ill-trained Saudi nationals somehow pulled it off and flew the planes through exquisite maneuvers in the process.

An urban legend was created of Bin Laden masterminding the plot while sitting in a remote cave in Afghanistan. Bush immediately named Bin Laden as the culprit before any investigation could possibly begin. It didn't matter, because no serious investigation was ever intended or conducted. Bush later dismissed Bin Laden's relevance and shifted focus to "finishing his Daddy's business in Iraq".

The Keane Commission report supposedly reinforced the Administration's cover story, and all is receding rapidly now in the rearview mirror. However, one fact that the vast majority of Americans are undoubtedly unaware of, is that even cover-up front men Thomas Keane and Lee Hamilton later gagged on the degree of cover-up involved.

In the January 2, 2008 New York Times, they were quoted that their report contained inaccuracies and unanswered questions. They complained that the CIA withheld evidence, refusing to allow them to view video of Al Qaeda interrogations. The tapes were later destroyed, adding to list of outrageous cover-up moves that make Nixon's Watergate drama seem saintly in comparison.

The tapes reveal torture methods used against the alleged 9/11 ringleaders, as the story goes. But didn't Gonzales rule that torture was legal? What was the CIA afraid of?

Here is my challenge to anyone who thinks that questioning the official 9/11 story equates with indulging in "conspiracy theories":

If the official account is correct, then why has there been such a vast number of incidents of withheld or obstructed evidence? Nothing to hide, nothing to fear, right?

A small sampling include:

- Tapes of the NYC firemen radio conversations were locked up and presumably destroyed. These conversations would have indicated that fire fighters concluded that the WTC fires were contained to a few floors, and conditions were safe enough to bring in additional rescue personnel - until new explosions resonated throughout and brought the towers down.

- Tapes of interviews with air traffic controllers on duty during 9/11 were destroyed. These conversations would have revealed the fact that radar screns were suddenly filled with unidentified craft during the 9/11 hijackings - something that would require high-level technical sophistication and inside access to the air defense system.

- Security camera video was confiscated from private buildings surrounding the Pentagon and never seen again, from cameras positioned with a view of whatever impacted the Pentagon.

- WTC debris was carted off almost immediately, with no forensic investigation such as normally required of a crime scene.

9/11 marks a key signpost in the recent timeline that ultimately leads to 2012. It represents a last-gasp attempt of the Forces of Darkness to maintain fear-based control over the populace. It signals the ongoing use of such tactics, and there will undoubtedly be more.

It is vital that the Forces of Light continue to shine into the darkness and reveal what really occurred and is still occurring. Truth must be upheld as the highest standard, and critical thinking is important to that end. The old system is going down, but not without making a huge amount of noise in the process.
