When I was but a small child I jumped in puddles filled with rain. I thought life was fun and games. I had no reason to complain.
When I became a young girl my heart was broken in two, half felt like dying, the other said I'll make it through.
I then became a wife and mother and I thought that life was good, But little did I know how much about life I misunderstood.
I was like a desert flower scorched by the heat of the day, Then I found a place of cool waters...where I knelt down to pray.
