How long has it been since you've enjoyed a rainy day. I was always too busy at home growing up to color. My Mama believed that all free time should be spent cleaning the house or doing the yard. Mama never had pictures I had colored hanging on her refridgerator or poetry I had written proudly displayed there.
When my little girl came along then I learned the joy of coloring. She started scribbling as soon as she could walk. From there everyday there was a new picture on my refridgerator and each one signed I LOVE YOU. I was so proud.
As she got older she became an excellant drawer. Her favorite thing to draw when she was young was little things that could be used as tatoos. Hearts, crosses (FANCY) animals, cartoons. She is really good. Her problem is that she doesn't think anything she does is good.
I learned back then what a relaxing thing coloring is. I can't draw but I sure enjoy coloring . Everytime it rained she and I would color pictures for what seemed like hours.
I don't have much time for coloring now, but some rainy day when I am home alone I'm gonna do just that. Care to join me. A coloring book and a few crayons and you'll be surprized just how relaxed you'll feel
COME ON, WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOOSE? WHEN it rains...COLOR!!!
