It's Only Tuesday?

Seems like it should be Thursday, tired as I am today. I really enjoyed seeing kindergarten and first grade this morning. The first five minutes of each class are spent on "Anything you absolutely positively have to tell me or your head will explode" :) sharing time. Several of my youngest students had new pets. One little girl brought her toy lizard, Polka Dot, to the library. He was very well-behaved, and listened intently to the story.

First grade appears to be losing quite a few teeth. One kid said he received $20.00 from the tooth fairy for his tooth! Now I'm thinking about pulling my own out and cashing in. Are gums in this year?

Thanks to my wonderful parent volunteer this morning, I have very few books to shelve. That's a real blessing. Running a library is very much like housework; i.e., neverending. I really appreciate all of our library volunteers for their valued assistance.

HEEYYY!! this is Rachel Stark from the MJGDS.. I hope you remember me! I think that your blog is amazing. It is completly you! I hope you like your new school. Your probably wondering why we all gave you comments right? well we are doing a chi-reading project, and we are reading "the outsiders", and we are going to write a blog being a character... I dont know who i want to be yet. We have just started reading it. Well we were seeing what a blog looked liked and Mrs.hernandez showed us!
THE LIBRARY IS NOT THE SAME WITH OUT YOU....
