News from the Real World
It's been a while since I've posted; I forgot how busy life at a large public school can be. So far I am loving it. The kids are so excited to have a "real" librarian again, as are the teachers. Today I saw 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade classes. 3rd and 5th adopted shelves. I was pleasantly surprised by how excited they were at the prospect.
I still miss my private school. It's so strange, not hearing "Boker Tov" in the mornings and "Shabbat Shalom" on Friday afternoons. I actually told a faculty member here at the public school "Boker Tov" one morning last week!
