Ramblings and various thoughts on day's activities, books, authors and anything I feel like spouting off about.
Football, Good Books and Kosher Food

When I decided to accept my new job offer, my first thought was "No more football discussions every morning!" One of my eighth graders, Josh, has been in every morning for the past four or five years. It will be very strange not discussing the games on Monday morning, and trash talking each other's favorites.

Josh and I have also had a great deal of fun discussing books. He's an avid reader and excellent reviewer.

He's also been extremely helpful teaching me Hebrew and kashrut. And very patient! He really knows his stuff, and has opened up an area of study I'd never looked at before. I know he'll go far.
