Now, of course, staying home sick is not fun. As Jaime said on one of my favorite tv shows, "Mad about You", -- I"M THE MOMMY!!! I've been out since Tuesday afternoon with a sinus infection and bronchitis, and it has not been fun. What happened to daytime television? "The Price is Right" is still good, but they don't play the cash register game (my favorite) as often as I'd like. I don't recognize a single character on the soaps, and you can only watch so much home shopping in a day.
When I was in kindergarten, it didn't start until 10 am, so my Mom always let me eat my breakfast while watching the early morning movie. I saw quite a few classics that way.
Now there's nothing on; which leaves me DVDs, and I"m too lazy when I'm sick to get up and put them in the DVD player. So.....I sleep. Which is probably what I should be doing anyway. . . .
