Staging Packet In
Staging Packet In

I recieved my staging packet this week. I'm slowly learning to cope with disappointment. I will not be going to DC, instead, staging is in Arlington, VA. Maybe it's the dopleganger of Arlington, TX... Although I suppose the VA site was first, so WE are the dopleganger. I say "we" as if I'm from Arlington... The Metromess...

On a coincidental side note, I am sending mail to Arlington, VA. For  $150, I am mailing off for my CTL from the AST&L. Certificated in Transportation and Logistics from the American Society of Transportation and Logistics. It's the equivalent of a CPA in the logistics world. I wonder if I'll ever need or use it. UNT has a waiver program thanks to a couple professors who are examiners on the board or something. So when student complete a logistics degree, they automatically qualify for the certification without needing to take the tests. Thank goodness. I wouldn't do it if I had to take tests...

Ten shirts, five pants, three pairs of shoes, a wetsuit and I unofficially have enough new clothes. Remind me not to go shopping later. Only the shoes were over $10. I discovered a wonderful thrift store near campus. Of course, all of the shoes were new and NOT from the thrift store... gross.

I still need: camera, sunscreen, M&M's (they "don't melt", although everyone who's ever held M&M's in their hand from a younger, or older, sibling, knows they very well DO melt), Ziplock baggies (I've heard they come in handy for preventing mold)... I'm not sure what else. I'll have to look over the lists of things to bring again.

Soon to post pics of LA. See my friend's pictures of LA.

You understand that Arlington is just on the otherside of the Potomac River from DC?
