What does God say
Speaking the Word of Truth.

Your eternal destination.

Mat 25:31-46

When the Sonne of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall hee sit vpon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepheard diuideth his sheepe from the goats. And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say vnto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was an hungred, and yee gaue me meate: I was thirstie, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and yee visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me. Then shal the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fedde thee? or thirstie, and gaue thee drinke? When saw wee thee a stranger, and tooke thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee? And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Uerely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethren, ye haue done it vnto me. Then shall he say also vnto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, prepared for the deuill and his angels. For I was an hungred, and yee gaue me no meat: I was thirstie, and ye gaue me no drinke: I was a stranger, and yee tooke me not in: naked, and ye clothed mee not: sicke, and in prison, and yee visited me not. Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee? Then shall he answere them, saying, Uerely, I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall goe away into euerlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternall.

The everlasting truth here is that the ones on the right (the sheep) are the ones who have come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. All that they do, they do in His name, for His glory not of their own. The goats on the left are those who have refused Christ Jesus as their Savior and are relying on their own goodness to get them into heaven. But Christ clearly states in Joh 14:6,7 “Iesus saith vnto him, I am the Way, the Trueth, and the Life: no man commeth vnto the Father but by mee.   If ye had knowen me, ye should haue knowen my Father also:” This is clearly a statement that gives the authority of Jesus as Savior. No man will ever know God, without first submitting to Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. Without this submission you will not know God, you will not know His goodness, you will not know His eternal love, or His tremendous mercy, nor will you know His loving compassion, nor will you know His steadfast love. The only thing you will know is His perfect justice, when you stand before Him on the day of judgment. There will be no pleas nor will there be any throwing yourself on the mercy of the court, nor asking the judge for leniency, there will just be the submission that should have been given while you had the chance.

The amazing thing about God is that He always gives us ample opportunity to come to Him. Isaiah 55:6 “Seeke ye the Lord, while he may be found, call ye vpon him while he is neere.” God is always near and ready to listen to His children, yet we are not always willing to talk to Him. For the most part I truly believe that man is afraid of God, and His perfect justness, that they tell themselves that He does not exist so that they do not have to feel bad when they sin against Him, or that they ignore Him in this life hoping that they will not have to face Him on the day of judgment. It is amazing to me how many people will resist Him and all the promises He gives to us just for the sake of having fun in their sins. God clearly tells us in His holy scripture that, “The Lord is not slacke cocerning his promise (as some men count slacknesse) but is long-suffring to vs-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” 2Peter 3:9. God does not want any of His creation to be separated from Him at anytime, especially when Christ comes as King to set up His kingdom here on earth. The scripture clearly says that God is not willing that any should perish, that means God wants all of His creation with Him in eternal life. Sadly though, not all of God’s creation will be with Him in eternity, in fact, not all people who call themselves Christians will be with Him for eternity. Jesus makes this clearly known in Matthew 7:21-23,Not euery one that saith vnto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdome of heauen: but he that doth the will of my father which is in heauen. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, haue we not prophecied in thy name? and in thy name haue cast out deuils? and in thy name done many wonderfull works? And then wil I professe vnto them, I neuer knew you: Depart from me, ye that worke iniquity.” Jesus’ statement of I never knew you, points out the fact that these persons who call Jesus LORD, and they use His name to do the works of casting out demons and healing the sick, but they did it for their own glory and not the glory of the One True Vine. To prove that people can actually use the name of Jesus alone to do remarkable acts, I refer you to Acts 19:13-16

Why is it that man can not simply submit themselves to God? Why is it that we can want the promises that goes with God’s salvation?, and we can want the prosperity that God’s divine presence in our lives brings?, but we do not want God in the equation. Simply put God gives us chance after chance to repent of our sins and submit ourselves to the authority of Jesus Christ as our Savior, and some of us will NEVER do that, at least on our own free will, but the day is coming when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God, the Messiah, the who Is, who Was and the One who Will come again. And you can either be with Him in eternal life or in the lake that burns with fire for all eternal punishment. The choice to me is clear, simply repent of your sins, place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and live to serve Him, after all He died for us, so let us live for Him. Without repentance, without submission to God in Christ you will by no means enter into the kingdom of heaven. You will however enter into the lake of fires, a place that was not even created with human beings in mind. Matthew25:41  Then shall he say also vnto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, prepared for the deuill and his angels. Clearly God did not create hell for man, but traumatically man will place himself their out of pride and ego. Where will you spend your eternity? Will you spend it with the One who created you in eternal life or with the father of lies in eternal suffering? The choice is yours, that is the gift the Father gave to us. Some use it wisely, and others use it foolishly, Seek God and live? Let us give Him praise and honor and glory now and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
