USPS Operation Santa #HelpSantaHelpKids
There are also two ways to receive a free letter from Santa through the U.S. Postal Service.
The first method is less controlled, where you mail the letter and a volunteer writes a letter back. The second method is a letter written by a parent or guardian and mailed back to you with a North Pole stamp cancellation

The end of the year is approaching and with it the Christmas spirit invades our hearts. At that time, every year, children from all over the country begin to write their letters filled with requests for Santa Claus. More than 30 years ago, Correios postal employees, moved by messages written in newly learned letters or transformed into colorful drawings that reached the company, decided to start taking these dreams off the paper. That was where one of the most loved solidarity campaigns by Brazilians was born: Santa Claus of the Post Office #UnitedStatesPostalService .

Over the years, this action gained strength, spread and today unites the company and the population in a great stream of love and generosity. In addition to letters from society's children, since 2010 public school students are also invited to express their wishes to Santa Claus. The campaign encourages children to develop letter writing, a practice that allows them to value writing and their interest in school learning, one of the greatest gifts that a child can receive, isn't it?

So that everything can become reality, the Post Office has the help of thousands of godparents and godmothers willing to make the magic of Christmas happen. Anyone, anywhere in the country, can participate in the campaign and make a child happy. Adopt a letter online and, this Christmas, be You Santa !!! Ho Ho Ho!
