THE LOVE IN HER HEART

And the angel appeared to her in the thick of the night,
sent from Heaven, by God, with wings of luminescent light.
And, she said unto her, this Mary of pure and grace,
for her to look up and apon this angel's face.
The angel told her, you have been blessed by God,
Mary listened to the angel and rejoiced with a nod.
For she was to be the chosen one and with child,
God's only Son, our Lord and Savior, this baby mild.
She accepted God's will with faith and grace,
and could not wait to look apon her baby's face.
And, so the day had come, that cold night in December,
for that newborn king to be born and for everyone to remember.
Her Husband Joseph knelt down by her side,
the pain she felt, she could no longer hide.
Joeseph had tried his best for her and for all he had done,
Mary held onto him and beared down to give birth to her Son.
And when, at first sight, she held her babe, and looked into his eyes,
the feeling that stirred deep in her heart, no one could summerize.
This God-sent miracle that she had been given, this perfect human-being,
the glory and love that she felt that night, no one had ever seen.
She held her precious bundle, in her arms so close and tight,
and cradled that babe and sang him songs as she rocked him through the night.
Flesh of her flesh, so innocent and new, flesh of God above,
Mary, in her innocence was filled with deep true love.
And shepherds and kings came from afar to worship this special babe,
little did we know, at that time, our souls, later on he'd save.
For God had a purpose for this child, just like He did that night with Mary,
when He sent the angel to her, to tell her God's Son she'd carry.
Never could a Mother ever be so proud or ever feel so blessed,
then to look into the eyes of her child, this baby king, Jesus.
