"Thanksgiving"

Thanks Giving Bar

I thank my God for saving me.
For the joy and peace He brings to me.
I thank Him for the friends I've found;
They walk with me. I'm homeward bound
I thank Him for that promise given
That we shall meet again in heaven.

I thank Him for the life He gave.
I thank him for His power to save.
I thank Him for His precious blood,
That from His wounded side has flowed,
I thank Him, for I know it's real,
For by His stripes comes power to heal.

I thank him for His precious word.
'Tis the sweetest story ever heard.
I thank Him for His love and care.
Give thanks and praise in every prayer.
I thank Him for that guiding hand
That leads me on to glory land,

boy

I thank Him for that glorious day
He came and took my sins away.
I thank Him for that perfect peace;
It brings my soul such sweet release.
I thank Him for those words when He
Said, "Thou can'st come abide with me."

I thank you, Lord, for now I know
That where You are, I'll surely go.
Your promise, Lord, I have to hold.
I'll have a place, Lord, in Your fold
That where You are I'll surely be
With You. Abide with You; be free.
