Went to a Veggie Meetup tonight. It was GREAT!! It started at 7pm with dinner at Whole Foods. YIPPEE!! You go in and get your food and then join everyone outside at the tables for fellowship. I didn't know anyone, so I didn't get much fellowshipping done, but I did some listening...but FIRST!



One mile before work...

FOUR miles between getting off work and the Veggie Meetup. It was PERFECT!! I got to Whole Foods at 5:30p, which gave me 90 minutes to walk...I'm not sure how it worked out, because I only walked for 70...I did take a few minutes to run thru the store before hand to see what was on the salad bar...and I took a couple minutes between 2 mile loops, but I really don't know where the other 20 minutes disappeared to. Odd...Must be that "Multiple Personality blackout".



Anyway...I got done right about 7pm and strolled over to where they were setting up for the meeting. The leaders noticed me as a newbie right away and introduced themselves to me...told me to go ahead and get some food and come back outside, so I did. THEN, the great time started! We talked about composting and bike lanes and veganism and activism and restaurants and compassion and all sorts of stuff! It was GREAT! I want so badly to go back next month. I hope I'll be able to. The 4th Thursday of every month. It was cool....
