Took my first step toward the Hallelujah Diet today. I didn't jump in completely, though...maybe I should have. I followed the diet for breakfast and for lunch....well, mostly at lunch. I had a piece of cheese with my salad - cheese isn't allowed on the diet, because it's animal product and that's a no-no. Then, I had a piece of chocolate for dessert. Now? I feel like crap. I should have stuck to the healthy good for you stuff I'd eaten and not added the chocolate at the very least. Ugh. Actually, it's almost like a slight headache forming.

Speaking of headaches, I don't think I mentioned the migraines I suffer. This diet swears that if I follow it 100%, I won't have the migraines or the fibro. It's a 100% vegan diet, though. 85% raw, 15% cooked. I'm at the point where I'm willing to try it for at least a little while...but, starting it is going to be hard, I think. Once I get it going, it should be easier. I've given myself the option that I'm not going to be strict in that going out won't be a problem and eating at someone's house...or with someone...I'll just switch to my current vegetarian diet when it comes to that...but when I'm home and preparing meals for Hubby and me, well, I'll try super hard to follow this...see where it gets me.

Anyway, the migraines. I'm on Topamax and it seems to help with the sleep disturbance I've had as long as I can remember. I can remember Mom trying to wake me up for morning kindergarden...HA! They messed up putting me in morning kindergarden! I think I was late almost every day!

Seriously...I felt good until I ate that chocolate. Now I feel like crap. That's it. I'm giving it up. What's in the fridge at home goes out for the trick-or-treaters tomorrow night along with the Kudos bars...They can pick whatever they want. No more chocolate for me. I wasn't even craving it!! That's the sucky part! This diet may end up being super good for me after all!

We're going to try harder tomorrow!

Tonight...swing by the gym to pick up a schedule of classes and hit the grocery store. Tomorrow, get home for the trick-or-treaters...Weds, plan on stopping by the gym - I hope they have a good class after work!! Thursday, Massage. Friday - Date Night!! WOO HOO! Busy week!
