Because there is no road access to the villages of Upper Kheng in Zhemgang, horses are highly valued. Often a man's wealth in a village is measured by the number of  horses he maintains and their quality.

Here, the man is leading a caravan of horses carrying loads of a government official to Buli, the village in Nangkor village that has road access.
