Cattle rearing is an important economic activity in Kheng. However, most of the higher valleys are owned by some influential families in Bumthang. The people of Wamling have bought many tsamdrok from the families. An indepth study into such practices that deprives locals right to graze their cattle in their own village and the vicinity need to be done. This policy needs to be looked into.
