Understanding the Island of Misadventure
Imagine that you a clinical psychologist and were assigned the case study of what went wrong with this seemingly innocent group of boys. As you opened the file, your understanding of the complexities of each of the four main characters led you to discover the clues necessary to make your judgment. Your job is to decipher these clues.
Assignment: Read, study, and take notes on the four main temperaments (personalities) from the following website: http://keirsey.com/matrix.html. Based on your research, classify each of the four temperaments to each of the four main characters in the novel: Jack, Ralph, Simon, and Piggy. Then, explain how each character exemplifies this personality.
Presentation: You have a choice of how you want to present your findings. Possibilities are as follows:
1. Essay: Minimum of 1000 words.
2. Poster/Collage: Present each of the four personalities and characters on a poster(s). Provide examples, pictures, drawings, etc.
3. Power Point

You will need to share your work with the class!!
Your grade will reflect the accuracy of information, quality of research into the personalities of the characters, and the professionalism of your presentation. In an essay, you will be required to identify which personality best suits you (More information on this one to follow)!
