| This is a link to Hampstead Castle - This site appears to be kept up to date by it's owner (a retired dealer based in Torquay) and is a useful reference site for all the latest Machins, Cylinder Blocks and Booklets. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This site consists of an A-Z list of Philatelic terms with a short description of almost anything that is concerned with Philately. It doesn't discuss anything in detail. I find it useful for the beginnings of a research topic. I then use some part of the description to do a more detailed "Google" search. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Machin Collectors Club - (MCC) - Difficult to say how much this has helped me. To date I haven't taken advantage of all it's facilities. I know I couldn't have done without my copy of the MCC Catalogue, an absolute must if you are going to specialise in Machins. The new version was published in January 2005. The news letters are really informative and help me to the extent that I no longer miss issues that the Post Office "forget" to let me know of despite my membership of the Philatelic Bureau. Add the above and the fact that we are only talking about 10 a year, I would suggest that any serious Machin collector (or even wannabe) join the MCC. |

| PS: I am not being paid for any of these endorsements and the description is my, hopefully, objective thoughts on each .... However I am always open to offers! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
