Chapter 15

Kevin walked into the book store where Sarah worked. He looked around and she was no where in sight. "Excuse me, sir," Kevin asked a man. "Is Sarah working here today?"

"She won't be here for another few minutes," the man said.

"Oh okay," Kevin said. He bought a cappuccino from the cafe and sat a table and waited for her.

About 30 minutes later Sarah came rushing through the door.

"Am I late?" she asked her boss.

        "Actually, you're thirty minutes early."

Sarah groaned. "My watch must be wrong," she said as she set her purse down.

"There's a gentleman sitting over there for you. He's been waiting about a half an hour."

Sarah looked over and saw Kevin sitting at a table drinking his cappuccino. She walked over to him and sat at the table with him. He looked up.

"Hi," he said with a smile.

        "Hi," she said shyly.

        "How are you?"

        "I'm okay. What about you?"

        "I'm pretty good."

"Well, that's good. So, what are you doing here?"

"To see you," Kevin said straight faced.

        "Me? Why me?"

        "Because you're nice."

Sarah laughed softly. "You don't even know me."

"So change that. Tell me about you."

"What do you want to know?"

"Well, first of all do you have a boyfriend?"

Sarah hesitated for a moment then finally nodded. "My boyfriend's name is Keith."

"How long have you two been together?"

"Well, I've know him since 8th grade, but we didn't start going out until my junior year and I'm 21 now."

        "That's a long time."

        "Yeah," said Sarah. "It is."

"So, are you from around here?" Kevin asked as he took another sip of his cappuccino.

"Well, I grew up in Oregon, but I moved down here to be with Keith," Sarah said flatly.

"You don't sound too happy about it."

"No, I'm happy about it," she said quickly.

Kevin raised his eyebrows and nodded.

        "What?"

        "Nothing," Kevin said innocently.

"You don't believe that I'm happy do you?"

"I never said that. So, other than your boyfriend what else can you tell me about you?"

"Well, I'm really into art and music."

"So am I. What kind of music do you like?"

"I like all kinds. It just depends on my mood. I'm also a dancer."

"Oh really? Maybe we could go clubbing sometime?"

"I really don't think that would be such a good idea."

"Why not? It's just two friends going out and having fun."

"I guess," Sarah said half heartedly."

        "What about movies?"

"I like all kinds of movies, but my favorite would have to be My Best Friend's Wedding. What about you?"

"Well, right now I like anything but Jim Carey movies." Sarah laughed. "I'm serious because Brian watches them all the time. It gets old after a while."

Sarah laughed again then caught Kevin staring at her. "What?"

"Nothing," Kevin said with a smile.

        "You were staring."

"Oh, sorry I just couldn't help noticing how pretty your eyes are"

Sarah blushed and laughed nervously. "Thanks."

"So, you and this Keith guy, are you two serious?"

"Well, it depends on what you mean by serious."

"I mean, like are you two engaged."

Sarah gave him a shocked look. "No, we're not engaged."

        "Then how serious are you?"

        "Pretty serious, I guess."

        "Do you love him?"

        "What?" Sarah said, half scared.

"I said. . .do you love him?" Kevin said in a horse whisper.

        "I don't think--"

        "Just answer my question."

"I. . .I. . . I really should get to work," Sarah said as she got out of her seat and walked behind the counter.

Kevin followed her. "Are you gonna answer my question or not?"

Sarah grabbed some books and headed to the shelves. "I don't have to answer that."

"Fine don't answer me. Look, I gotta go. I'll see you later" Kevin disappeared into the many bookshelves.

Sarah thought he was gone so she continued to put the books on the shelves. Suddenly she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and there stood Kevin. "You know, you're gonna get me fired," she said.

"Go to dinner with me tonight."

Sarah chuckled. "Go eat dinner with you? You don't even know me."

"I don't have to," Kevin said as he stared deeply into her eyes.

"I have a boyfriend," Sarah said with one eyebrow raised.

"So we'll go as friends." Sarah laughed at his perseverance.

        "You're very persistent aren't you?"

Kevin grinned. "Only to girls I like. So will you come to dinner with me? No, better yet come to the concert tonight and we'll go to dinner afterwards."

Sarah smiled. "Okay, I'll go to the concert and to dinner with you."

"Great," Kevin said. He handed her a backstage pass. "Show this to the bodyguard and they'll let you in the back way."

"Okay," she said as she took it from him.

"See you tonight," Kevin said then left.

Sarah took a deep breath and sighed. She smiled as she looked at the backstage pass. Sarah put the pass in her pocket and pick up some books and continued with her work.

Chapter 16

Rachel came back to the apartment after an exhausting time at volleyball practice. Kristin was sitting on the couch watching MTV.

"Hey, Rach. How was practice?" she asked, not looking away from the TV.            "It. . .was. . .really. . .tough," Rachel said in between short breaths. Kristin shut off the TV and looked over at her in concern.

"Rach, you all right? You seem to be out of breath."

"No. . .I'm okay. I just. . .need to. . .sit down," she said as she headed to the kitchen.

Kristin followed her and grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge. "Here, drink this."

"Thanks," Rachel said as she took little sips.

"Geez girl, what did you do at practice?"

"It wasn't from. . .practice. It was from running. . .from the gym. . .back here," Rachel said, struggling for breath.

"YOU RAN ALL THE WAY OVER HERE?" Kristin said, raising her voice. "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?"

"I have to. . .get in shape. . .somehow. College. . .volleyball. . .is tough."            "Rach, you know what can happen if you overdo yourself. You're going to wind up back in the hospital like. . .like. . ." her voice faded.

"Like two years ago?" Rachel finished. Kristin nodded, close to tears. "Kris, I know what I'm doing. I'm not going to let a little heart condition stop me."

"Little heart condition? Rachel you almost died. I don't want to lose my best friend. Just promise you'll be more careful and not do anything crazy like that again."

Rachel sighed. "I promise," she said softly, regaining her normal breathing speed.

Kristin smiled and hugged Rachel. "Come on, lets go get ready. We have a concert to go to!" Rachel said while standing up quickly, causing the room to tilt. "Whoa," she said while putting her hand on her head.

"You okay?" Kristin asked with a look of worry.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Just a head rush," she lied.

"Okay, well I'm going to get ready," Kristin said, leaving the kitchen.

"Okay. . ." Rachel trailed off, her mind focused on what just happened. I never had that happen before, she thought. Feeling a slight pain in her chest, she sat back down. It's probably nothing. I better get ready for the concert. I'm sure everything is fine, thinking to herself then headed to her bathroom. Rachel got up and took a hot bath. She freshened up her make-up and fixed up her hair. When she was done she got out and let Kristin in. About an hour later, Rachel knocked on the bathroom door.

"Kristin hurry up. We're gonna be late."

"Okay, okay, I'm coming!" Kristin said as she opened the door. She looked at Rachel and asked, "Do I look okay?"

Rachel rolled her eyes. "No, you look terrible," she said sarcastically.

"Well, I don't wanna look bad."

        "You look fine."

        "Are you sure?"

"I'm positive. Now let's go," she said as she dragged Kristin out the door.             They hopped into Kristin's car and drove to the stadium where the concert was being held. Kristin parked her car and looked over at Rachel.

"You got the camera?" Rachel held up the camera.

        "Check."

        "Backstage passes?"

"Got em," she said as she put hers on and gave Kristin the other one. "Tickets?"

Rachel's face went blank. "Oops!" she said.

        "Rachel, you didn't."

"I knew I was forgetting something."

Kristin glared at Rachel. "I'm gonna kill you."

Rachel laughed and help up the tickets. "Gotcha!" she shouted.

"That wasn't even funny. Don't ever do that to me again."

        "Sorry, Kris, you're too easy."

Rachel and Kristin got out of the car and carefully dodged through the screaming fans. They showed their backstage passes to the security guard and he let them in. Kristin and Rachel ran backstage and found Nikki walking down the hall. She smiled when she saw them.

        "Hey guys!" she said.

        "Hey Nikki," said Rachel.

        "Where is everyone?"

"Amanda and the guys are in the dressing room. Come with me and I'll show you where it's at."

Rachel and Kristin followed Nikki to the dressing room. She knocked on the door and Aaron Carter answered the door.

"Hey, Nikki!" he said as he hugged her.

"How's it goin' bud?" Nikki asked him.

"I'm great and ready to perform," Aaron said while bouncing up and down.         Nikki laughed and walked into the room. "Hey guys," she said as she timidly glanced at Howie.

"I'm pumped and ready to go!" AJ shouted.

        "Calm down, hon," Amanda said.

"Why don't you make me?" he said with a sly grin.

She laughed and kissed him on the lips. "Are you cool now?"

"I'm as cool as cucumber," he replied.

Brian looked over at Rachel, who was standing by the door. He walked over to her and grabbed her arm. "Come with me. I wanna talk to you."  Rachel followed him outside. He leaned against the wall and looked her straight in the eyes. "Are you okay?" he asked her.

        "What do you mean?"

"You were crying last night. Are you sure you don't wanna talk about it?"             Rachel smiled. "That's really sweet that you're concerned, but I'm fine."

        "You sure?"

        "I'm positive."

"I just hate to see you so upset. If there's any way I can help---"

Rachel cut him off with a kiss. "I'm fine."

Brian stood there in shock for a second then looked down into her eyes. "Okay. . .if you say so." Brian said suspiciously. "Let's go back in the dressing room. I gotta finish getting ready."

They went back inside and Brian went to the mirror to fix his hair where Kevin stood.

"Man look at my hair!" Kevin grumbled.

Brian laughed. "What's wrong with it? It looks fine."

"No, it doesn't," Kevin said as she ran his fingers through his hair.

"Why are you so nervous?" Brian asked.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that? I am NOT nervous!" Kevin picked up his toothbrush and attempted to put the toothpaste on it, but wounded up getting it all over the mirror.

Brian laughed at Kevin's mishap. "Not nervous, huh?"

Kevin glared at Brian. "Shut up, Frick!"

        "Whoa chill out, cuz."

Kevin sighed. "Sorry, I guess I really am a little nervous."

        "A little?"

"Hey, I said I was sorry."

"What have you got to be so nervous about?"

        "Sarah," Kevin said while blushing.

        "Who's Sarah?" Brian asked.

"This girl I met," Kevin said self-consciously.

Brian beamed. "You met a girl? When was this?"

"I met her at the bookstore a couple of days ago."

"Kevin, you dog," Brian said as he punched Kevin on the shoulder.

"It's not like that," he explained.

        "She's got a boyfriend."

"I think you've let AJ become an influence on you."

Kevin laughed. "No, I really like her and I want to get to know her. I figured then we can at least be friends."

"That's really cool cuz," Brian said.

"Hey, guys, let's go!" shouted Howie.

"It's party time!" AJ said while bobbing up and down. He gave Amanda a kiss, then headed out the door.

The girls took their seats in the front row and watched the guys perform. They all noticed through out the whole show Kevin kept looking down at the front row. Each time he looked the more disappointed he looked The concert ended and the girls went back to the dressing room to see the guys. Kevin was sitting on the couch with his face in his hands. Brian sat down next to him.

"Maybe something came up and she couldn't make it."

        "No, I know what happened."

        "What?"

        "She stood me up."

"I'm sorry, cuz," Brian said as he patted him on the back. "Are you gonna come to dinner with us?"

Kevin sighed. "No, I'm think I'm gonna have the limo take me on home."

"Are you sure?" Kevin got up and walked to the door.

"Yeah, I'm sure," he said as he left the room.

Chapter 17

Sarah came home from a busy day at the bookstore. She opened her purse and spotted the backstage pass that Kevin had given her. She smiled as she hopped into the shower. When she was gone she heard a pounding on the door. Sarah rolled her eyes as she put on a towel. She opened the door and there stood Keith.

        "What do you want Keith?"

        "I'm out of beer."

"And what do you want me to do about it?"

"Go to the store and get me some."

Sarah glared at Keith. "Go get it yourself!"

"I have no money! You got paid today, now go get me some!"

"You know, if you'd get off your lazy ass and get a job maybe you could get your own beer," she said as she slammed the door. She started to take her towel off, but Keith swung open the door. "Keith, what the --"

"Don't you ever, ever slam the door on me again!"

"Okay, I'm sorry. Now can you leave so I can get ready?"

"Just where do you think you're going?"

"I'm going to a Backstreet Boys concert."

"Without me?" Keith said in an angered tone.

        "Yes, without you."

"I don't think so. You're staying here with me."

        "Keith--"

He put his hand over her mouth and pushed her against the wall. "You're not going anywhere. Do you understand me?"  Sarah weakly nodded. "Good, I'm glad we understand each other. Get some clothes on before you make yourself sick." Keith left the room.

Sarah slid down the wall to the floor and sobbed. She knew she would disappoint Kevin, but what could she do? Keith had always crushed her spirits one way or another. Slowly, she got up and put on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Sarah turned off the light in her bedroom, laid there in her bed, and stared at the ceiling. Why did I have to meet Kevin? I wouldn't feel so miserable right now, she thought. Suddenly she realized something. It's not Kevin's fault. It's Keith's. As usual, Keith ruins everything for me. She had fallen asleep and a few hours later she was awoken when Keith came into the room. Sarah sat up and looked at Keith.

"Do you not know how to knock?"

"Hey this is my apartment. I pay the bills, so I don't have to knock."

"Uh, correction I pay the bills. Remember, you don't have a job."

Keith glared at her. "Shut up!"

        "Why?"

        "I want some beer."

Sarah looked at him. It was clear that he was drunk. Keith got in the bed with her. He kissed her lightly on the neck. The smell of scotch reeked from his breath. She shoved away from him.

"God, what did you do? Drink all of the scotch?" Keith gave her an evil smile. "I'm not getting any beer," Sarah said.

        "Why not?"

"You're already drunk. You don't need any more alcohol."

Keith got angry and smacked her across the face. She shouted in pain. "You're pretty damn lucky I don't beat the shit out of you right now," he said as he got off the bed and left the room.

Sarah grabbed the hand mirror beside her bed and looked at the side of her face. It was red and she knew it would bruise. She grabbed her purse and got out her make up. On the bottom of her purse she noticed the backstage pass. Sarah got up to throw it away. She turned it over and noticed writing on the back. Slowly, she brought it up to her eyes. It was Kevin's phone number. I should call him, she thought. Sarah glanced at the clock. It was nearly midnight. She picked up the phone and dialed Kevin's number.

        "Hello?"

Sarah hesitated for a moment. "Kevin?"

"What do you want?" he shouted

"Kevin, I can explain." Kevin scoffed.

"Unless your mother died or something, I don't wanna hear it."

Sarah held back her tears. "Kevin--"

"Sarah, where are you?" shouted a drunken Keith.

        "Oh, crap he's back."

        "What? Who?" Kevin said confused.

"Keith," Sarah whispered. "Maybe he'll go away if I don't answer."

        "Sarah, what--"

"Damnit Sarah let me in!" yelled Keith.

        "Go away!" Sarah shouted.

        "I'll knock this door down!"

        "Go ahead!"

Keith banged and banged on the door. Finally he had enough force that he knock the door down. He charged directly for Sarah. "Get off the damn phone and get me some beer like I told you."

"Keith, you're drunk just go in the other room."

Keith grabbed her arm and pushed her against the dresser, causing her to cry out in pain.

"Shut up before I give you something to cry about." He moved closer to Sarah. His lips brushed against her cheek. "Come on, baby, let's have some fun," he said as he rubbed he hands down her waist.

        "No," Sarah whispered, between tears.

"Why not? Don't you want to give your boyfriend a little lovin?" he asked as he licked her lips.

"Keith, get off me!" Sarah cried in fear.

"Baby, relax, I'll take care of you." Keith slowly undid her shirt as Sarah cried.

        "No!" she screamed.

"Oh, I think so," he said with a lustful grin.

Chapter 18

Kevin stared down at the phone in fright. He could hear Sarah crying. He hung up the phone and grabbed the phone book. Frantically flipping through the pages he looked under the P's. He had gotten her last name from one of her coworkers. Kevin slid his finger down the page and found her address.

"Sarah Putman," he said out loud. Kevin quickly wrote the address down and headed out the door. Frantically he drove around Orlando trying to find Sarah's apartment. After an hour of driving around he finally found it. Kevin rushed up the stairs and knocked on the door. The door slowly opened and there stood a weary Sarah. Her clothes were wrinkled and her hair was messed up. She stared at Kevin with fear in her eyes.

"Kevin, what are you doing here?" she asked with a trembling voice.

"I came to get you," Kevin said in almost a whisper.

        "Why?"

        "Because I care about you."

"Kevin, you know nothing about me. How can you care for me if you don't know me?"

"I know it doesn't make any sense, but it's true," he said with a sigh.   "Look you need to get away from this guy. Pack up your stuff and come with me. You can stay at my place until we figure something out."

Sarah slowly nodded. "Okay," she said softly. She stood there and stared at Kevin.

Kevin gave her a sympathetic look. "The longer you wait, the more risk you run of not getting out of here safely."

        "Come with me," Sarah whispered.

Kevin nodded and stepped inside They quietly crept down the hallway to her bedroom. On the bed was a sleeping Keith. Sarah quickly grabbed a few of her things and handed them to Kevin. After all her things were gathered, they hopped into Kevin's car and drove to his house. Sarah sat in the car looking down at her hands. Kevin grabbed her hand, she looked up, her eyes were shimmering with tears.

"Hey," Kevin said gently.  "Are you okay?" Sarah sniffed. He brought his hand up and touched her cheek, she flinched. Kevin noticed the light bruise on the side of her face. "I'm sorry," he whispered.

"It's okay," Sarah said as she got out of the car. Kevin got out and helped her get her stuff out of the trunk. He noticed her cautiously looking around as he unlocked the door. They put the stuff in the guest bedroom, then went to the living room to sit on the couch.

        "I'm sorry," Sarah said.

"For what?" Kevin asked as he brushed a stray hair out of her face.

        "For not calling you sooner."

"It's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong."

"But why do I feel so bad?"

        "Because you're confused."

        "What if he finds me?"

        "He won't, trust me."

        "He's always found me before."

"Why didn't you try to get away from him sooner?"

"Believe me I tried. Don't you think I tried?" Sarah said in between tears.             Kevin put his arms around Sarah and tried to comfort her. Sarah cried in his arms. He wanted to tell her it was all gonna be okay, but how could he tell her it was all gonna be okay if he didn't even know himself? He placed his hand under her chin, she looked up at him.

"Can I ask you a question?" Sarah said.

        "Sure."

"Why did you help me tonight? I mean, you only met me two days ago."

Kevin stared into her eyes. "I don't know why, but when I get around you I get this weird feeling inside. When I heard you screaming it scared me and I had to help you."

Sarah smiled. "Thank you." She kissed him on the cheek.

"You're welcome," he said. She settled herself in his arms. Kevin wrapped his arms tighter around her.

Sarah smiled because she felt safe in Kevin's arms. She cuddled closer and shut her eyes. Kevin kissed her lightly on the top of her head.

"Are you hungry?" Kevin asked her. Sarah nodded. "Sit here let me get you something to eat," he said as he got out from underneath her.

He went into the kitchen and rummaged through his fridge, taking out several frozen items. Finally he came across a frozen pizza. Taking the pizza with him he went back to the living room.

"Hey do you like--" Kevin stopped, noticing that Sarah was fast asleep. He smiled as he grabbed a quilt off of one of the recliners and carefully placed it over her. Kissing her tenderly on the cheek, he whispered, "Sweet dreams," then went off to bed.

Kevin found it hard to sleep with all the thoughts he had swimming around in his head. He tossed and turned, trying to make himself fall asleep. When nothing seemed to work, he got up and quietly wandered into the kitchen to make some warm milk. Steadily he stirred his milk in the metal pan, adding a pinch of cinnamon. Suddenly he heard a scream.

"No, get away from me!" Sarah shouted. Kevin quickly ran to the living room and tried to shake Sarah awake.

        "Sarah, wake up!"

"Keith, get off me! You're hurting me!" she shrieked.

Kevin grabbed ahold of Sarah's shoulders and continue to shake her. "Sarah!" he shouted, shaking her almost violently. Sarah finally awoke, tears streaming down her face.

        "Oh my god!" she sobbed.

Kevin held her closely. Rocking her back and forth to calm her down. "Shhhh, it's okay. You're safe now. I'm here."

Sarah continued to cry in his arms. "He was here! I saw him!"

"No, it was just a dream. You're okay. He's not here. It's just you and me."         Sarah looked up into Kevin's hazel eyes. Kevin couldn't see her, all he saw was her fear.

"Come on," he said as he led her to the kitchen and sat her down in a chair. He took the warm milk out of the pan and poured into a mug then handed it to her. "Here, you need this more than I do."

"What is it?" she asked as she stared into the steaming hot mug.

"It's just warm milk. My mom used to make it for me when I couldn't sleep or had a bad dream. It relaxes you. Go ahead drink up."

Sarah took small sips of the warm milk. "This is pretty good," she said sipping some more.

"Feel better?" Kevin asked as he sat down next to her.

Sarah nodded. "A little. I'm just a little shaken up."

        "It's okay. You're safe here."

"I wish I could believe that," Sarah said taking, another sip.

Her hands were shaking in apprehension, causing her to drop the mug. Pieces shattered all over the floor. "Oh my gosh, Kevin I'm so sorry," she said while getting up.

"No, don't worry about it. You sit down, I'll pick this up."

Kevin got the broom and swept up all the broken pieces and threw them in the trash. When he put the broom away he out stretched his hand to her.

        "Come on."

"Where are we going?" she asked as she took his hand.

"To bed," he said, leading her to his room.

Kevin got into the bed and laid on his side. He patted the mattress motioning for Sarah to get in. She hesitated for a moment then laid down next to him. Protectively he wrapped his arms around her.

        "Good night," he whispered.

"Good night," Sarah echoed and fell soundly asleep.

Chapter 19

Amanda stood at the mirror in the dressing room with AJ, her arms were wrapped around him. He was fixing his hair. He noticed Amanda staring at him through the mirror.

        "What?" he asked.

        Amanda smiled. "Nothing."

"No, don't give me that. What were you thinking?"

"I wasn't thinking anything," Amanda said while blushing.

        "Then why are you blushing?"

"I'm not blushing. It's just really hot in here."

"Uh huh, yeah right," AJ said with a smirk.

Amanda laughed and kissed him on the lips. "There will that shut you up?"           "For now," AJ said mischievously. He flashed her a smile, "But if you're gonna keep me quiet all night it's gonna take a little more than that."

"Who said I wanted you quiet all night?"

AJ sneered and leaned over to kiss her again. Their lips were just about to meet when....

"Hey guys!" Nick said in between them. "Have you seen my hat?"

AJ rolled his eyes and looked at Nick. "What?"

"You know my black hat that says Frack on it. Have you seen it?"

"No, Nick, now go away," AJ said flatly.

"Can you help me find it please?"

"Hey, guys! Wuz up?" yelled Brian from behind.

Amanda, AJ, and Nick turned around to see Brian wearing Nick's Frack hat.         "Yo B-ROK you got the wrong hat on dude."

"No, I don't," Brian said with a goofy grin.

"Yes, you do. That hat says Frack. You're Frick."

Brian looked at himself in the mirror and laughed. "Whoops! Sorry, Nick," he said as he took off the hat and handed it to Nick.

"That's okay, bud," Nick said as he put it on.

"Well, I'm gonna take Kristin to the beach. See you guys later."

"Bye," Brian said. He looked around the dressing room in confusion.

"If Nick's got his hat, then where's mine?"

AJ noticed the hat sitting on the counter and threw it at Brian, smacking him in the face.

        "Thanks."

Rachel came into the room. "Are we going or not?"

"Yeah we're leaving right now. See you guys later," Brian said as he left the room.

Amanda looked at AJ in lust. "Now where were we?"

"I believe we were right here," AJ said as he brought his lips to hers. AJ let out a soft moan and pulled her closer to him. Amanda wrapped her arms around his neck and continued kissing him.

"Oops! Sorry guys," said the voice of Howie.

AJ rolled his eyes and stared over at Howie. "Nikki and I were just leaving."

AJ watched them leave then let out a sigh. "Well, that's everyone. We're alone now." Amanda smiled and followed AJ to the couch. They began kissing ever so passionately. Slowly, AJ brought Amanda to a laying down position.

Suddenly the door opened and in steps a janitor. "Oops! Sorry," he said.

AJ looked at Amanda. "You wanna go somewhere else?" Amanda nodded. "Okay, let's go to my place. Is that okay?"

Amanda raised her eyebrows and smiled. "More than okay," she said.

        "Good," AJ said slyly.

The two of them left the dressing room and went to AJ's car and drove to his condo. AJ unlocked the door and grinned at Amanda. He picked her up and carried her to his room.

"AJ, put me down!" she said with a laugh.

AJ laughed as he tossed her onto his bed. He jumped up and landed next to her. "Why don't we play a little game," he whispered.

        Amanda smirked. "What's it called?"

AJ kissed her neck. "It's called hide and go seek," he said as he pulled the covers over them.
