My story:

I was in the rescue program for a long time. My foster mom was wonderful, and took care of me from the time I was just a little kitty. When I was at the store, I looked at lots of people, and they looked at me, but I didn't really try too hard.

I'd seen this lady working there, and she was always teaching dogs and their people things everyday. One day, she came in, and she seemed very sad. I heard her talking to my foster mom and one of the other rescue ladies about someone dying, and she seemed kind of lonely. I watched her a lot over that week, because she seemed like a nice lady. She would look at me too, and she always had a strange look on her face when she looked at me.

At the end of the week, she came over and was talking to my foster mom about me, and asking questions. She took me out, and held me for a little bit, then put me back in the cage and walked away. When she came back, she had a yellow dog with her. I said hi to the dog. She licked me and licked her on the nose. The lady seemed surprised, and she scritched me. She said hold on, and walked away again. When she came back, this time she had a big white fluffy dog. I sniffed him and he seemed excited, but didn't lick me. Then the lady went away again.

Later she came back with a man, and they were talking. He picked me up and rolled me onto my back. I just snuggled into his arms, and she asked him 'What do you think?' He smiled and said 'Ok.' Someone took a picture of me with the lady, and then they put me in a carrier and took me out to the car.

When we got to the new home, my new mom and dad took me inside, and opened up the carrier. Both dogs were there, and were very excited to see me again. I was a little scared because it was a big change, but they were very nice and didn't try to play right away. It didn't take too long to get used to everything, and there were a lot of toys to play with (although the toys were kind of big!), and the dogs were nice to play with. I liked my new home, and glad to be there!

Now I have a little kitty sister. Guinness was a silly kitty, always wanting to play, but now she's a little older and not so bad. The new house is fun and there is a lot more room, and more windows to look out of. My gums hurt a lot, and mom says I have a bad disease and that I have to take my medicine. I don't like it, and I try to keep her from giving it to me, but it does help. But I still don't like it.

If you would like to talk to me, or if you would like to have a spot in the Gallery, leave my Mom, Kat mail, and she will take care of it (My Mom is soooo smart!).
