Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except 1/4 c. parmesan cheese. Knead until thoroughly mixed. Using teaspoons, scoop out dough and roll into quarter size balls. On a lightly floured surface roll balls into pencil shaped sticks. Flatten by rolling pin or by hand. Fold in half, and twist each stick 6 to 8 times around itself. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese. Bake approximately 30 minutes. Cool on pan. Store in sealed container.
