My story:
My name is Phantom of the Basement, but everyone calls me Phantom. I adopted my human when she came to the humane society I was staying at with my brothers and sisters. I convinced her to take me home, and after begging her grandmother, they filled out the paperwork that gave me ownership of her on Friday, September 13, 1991. I was only 10 weeks old, but I knew what I wanted.
Once in my new home, I began to train my human. She left the radio on for me, although she never learned to leave it on the correct station, and I was constantly having to change it. I soon decided I didn't care for the room we lived in, so I
learned how to open the door, and explored. We lived in the basement, and I often ignored my human's calls, which is how I got my name.
I have my human fairly well trained. Her mate has not been so easy, but he is coming along.
I like to lay in any of the windows in our apartment, at least when I'm not sleeping on my humans' lap. I eat only dry food, to keep my teeth healthy and keep my kitten-ish figure, and never eat that nasty human food. I love catnip, but only the true herbal kind, not the terrible stuff that can be bought at the store. I love having my chin scratched, being brushed, and sleeping on my humans' clothes. I hate other cats (except Mayhem, who's not too bad), big dogs, having my tail touched, and being ignored.
See more wonderful pictures of me here!
(My human doesn't take nearly enough of them. I always give her the best opportunities, but she's always too busy on her computer!)
Here are some pictures of me during the holidays. Hope you enjoy them!
If you would like to talk to me, or if you would like to have a spot in the Gallery, leave my human Kat mail, and she will take care of things for me.
