My story:

My mom and siblings were living under these strange flat tree pieces, and there were lots of guys walking around, making lots of noise and putting more flat pieces of trees together. It was loud and scary, but mom was there to keep us safe.

Then mom didn't come back. One of the men took my sister, another took my brother, and then one took me. We went in a loud machine to a big building that had lots of people in it. I had a hard time seeing because my eyes were full of yucky stuff, but it was very bright. A nice lady took me and had a lady she called a vet look at me. They cleaned out my eyes, and put some different yucky stuff in them, and I could see a lot better. The first lady showed me to another lady, and the other lady tried to get me to have milk from a funny looking teat. When I tried licking it, she tried to stick it in my mouth, but I just spit it out. Then she wrapped me in a towel and held me for a long time while she walked around with loud little barky fuzzy things running around. I don't know how long, because I decided to sleep.

Later, she gave me to the first lady, 'Just until the big dog playtime is done,' is what she said, and I went back to sleep. A guy came and poked at me after a while, and said something about wanting to see their new cat.

A while later, the lady came back to get me, and then we went in another big machine. Finally, we went in another building, but it wasn't as loud or as bright. I got to meet the other animals in the 'house'. Bon was cool because she let me chew on her nose and her lips and her feet. Remi is all fuzzy, and was always careful if I got near his feet. He didn't want to be chewed on, though. And Twyla was fun, too, but she spent a lot of time trying to clean me when I wanted to play. It was like being with my mom again (actually, Bon did that a lot too, but she didn't seem to mind me biting her as much!).

Now I'm all grown up, and I think I like being a dog better than being a cat, but being a cat can be fun sometimes too! I tried to bark one day, when I heard a noise (it was just mom coming home), but I don't think I did a good job of it, because dad just laughed at me. I try to snuggle with Remi, and he just grows at me, but he'd never done anything else except walk away. I figure if I just keep it up, he'll let me snuggle someday!

If you would like to talk to me, or if you would like to have a spot in the Gallery, leave my Mom, Kat mail, and she will take care of it (My Mom is soooo smart!).
