My story: Bender was named after the robot on 'Futurama' and came from a breeder. He plays hide and seek with his Mom and Dad, lets everyone know when he's arrived, and talks to the TV. He was afraid of a cat gargoyle statue when he was very little, but loves to play with his cat friend in the house.
