My story: I am Mayhem's littermate. When Kat got Mayhem, her downstairs neighbor decided she wanted cats too. So Kat took her to us, and she picked out me and another brother, a tiger who she named Andy (she named me Amos because she thought I was a boy). Well, my brother Andy was found by this woman under a chair dead, and they kept leaving the door open, so I kept escaping upstairs. Finally, Kat took me into her apartment, and made a phone call.
She put me in a plastic box, and we went in the car. When we stopped, she took me in a house and opened up the box. When I looked out, I didn't know where we were. I climbed up on a chair, and suddenly there was this weird looking animal jumping up and whining at me! I found out later that he was a dog named Scruffy, and was just happy to see me, but he was awefully obnoxious.
Granny named me Angel after I was there for only a short time. I don't know why. Maybe it was because of my color.
I've learned to adapt, although Phantom and I don't get along at all (I don't like her, and she doesn't like me). But I am getting used to Kat, even though she keeps sticking that flash thing in my face! But I let her pet me a little now. I guess she's ok.
