Unlike some anime series, Evangeleon is clear and crisp, with a realistic view on the human shape. Although some of the females in the show are slightly exaggerated (eh, all anime is like that), the animation has nice curves, and good quality. The Eva robots are somewhat sharp in some ways, and kind of look like they're made of plastic in other ways, but are very creative and pleasing to the anime-trained eye.

Storyline:
Evangeleon is the kind of anime that you have to watch several times to understand. And even when you think you understand it, there is always someone else who see's it in a very different perspective. However, the storyline is quite captivating, and very well lined out. Each episode keeps you wondering what's going to happen next, and the characters are discussed on a very deep level, if you pay enough attention to realize it. ^-^

Music:
It's definetly different, I'll give it that. ^-^ The Eva music had a strange charm, and I'll be damned if I didn't have Cruel Angel Thesis (main theme) stuck in my head for weeks. Apart from it's charm, though, was an annoyance. After hearing the music that plays when an Angel attacks during almost every episode, I was ready to mute the tv and just read the subtitles.

Voice Acting:
Although the version I watched was entirely Japanese, there is still something to be said for voice acting, and I must say that it was wonderful. The voices beautifully suited the characters, and in many instances (such as when Shinji would scream out of horror) sent chills up my spine. ^-^ I think everyone will agree that I need to get some soundclips for this site, right?

Continuity
Ah, the true mark of a good anime. ^-^;;;; Well, okay, not really, but it's pretty damn annoying when you realize that something that was mentioned in episode 3 didn't even happen until episode 5, or something similar. Anywayz, Evangeleon must have been nice to continuity, cuz I didn't find one foul-up. Everything seemed pretty much smooth going, and if you can find any continuity screw-ups, please let me know, cuz I don't think there has been an anime yet that hasn't screwed with continuity. ^-^

Eva is truely an anime to be reconed with! (In other words, it totally kicks ass!) Actually, I didn't expect my rating to end up being that high, but I guess the numbers speak for themselves! ^-^
