Sore de wa hajimemashoka?!?
I’ve noticed a strange pattern developing in our choice of anime to review. Just glancing at the reviews section I can see at least six movies aimed at adults only and many of these are hentai movies. In a sense this is unfair on younger anime fans who may not be able to or even allowed to see these movies and i can't help but feel that some of their frustration is my fault. I am the editor after all, it’s my job to govern what comes in and out of reviews and perhaps I’ve been too liberal. Another thing that annoys me about all those hyperlinks is that there are very few green ones anime should be enjoyed by all ages not just teens and adults that’s what makes it special as an art form and so this month we’re hoping to beef up the amount of movies suitable for all ages. Expect to see the likes of Spirited Away [revised], Castle of Cagliostro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Yu-Gi-Oh and maybe some Tetsowan Atom [if things go to plan]. Of course you can also expect some new reviews for different age groups but let it be known that the month of February in terms of Anime Ireland at least is strictly for the kids!
