F3 (Frantic, Frustrated and Female/ The Lament of the Otherwise Healthy girl)

Produced by Pink Pineapple.

Directed by ?

Hiroe Ogawa is, it seems, a girl with a problem. Physically perfect and, shall we say, eager and full of hormones, she has one problem.. She wants to have an orgasm with her boyfriend. Darling Hiroe has never attained Orgasm before – not once in the whole of her Japanese schoolgirl life!

What to do? Well, what would you try?

Predictably, the rest of the movie is footage of Hiroe’s attempts to achieve the height of physical pleasure.

Predictably, this means various exploits involving multiple self-explorations, pseudo-incestuous situations, enough lesbian romping to make your eyes bleed and some occasional possessed girl-grows-a-penis adventures.

F3 is pretty damn mediocre as far as this reporter can see, with clichéd sexual happenings and some terrible vibes of seen-it-all-before. The characters are pretty cute and mostly well drawn, maintaining those cheaply produced anime standards: All Girls are exact body clones, differing purely in hairstyle and eye colour.

Frantic, Frustrated and Female, has it’s dull points, too, the key phrase here being ‘overkill’ – too much of something can bore you beyond belief. Personally I was sitting there thinking, “There goes Hiroe, getting eaten out for the sixty-third time.. oh look at that, the sex demon came.. AGAIN.. wow.. has there been a point in this film where that girl HASN’T been naked..?”

Whatever happened to subtlety people! I mean.. we’ll have a whole new-wave generation of acne-infested teenagers rising up before our eyes soon, kids exposed to brutally graphic pornography of all kinds since they were five and can now only feel arousal When they watch small shaved monkeys dressed in flaming paper outfits penetrate themselves with giant cucumbers. Or something.

But then that’s just my opinion.

Anyway, although F3 does have it’s many coma-inducing points, not all hope is lost --

Towards the end of the series where the creators seem to lose the plot and get bored, it gets surprisingly entertaining – a room full of sex toys become haunted by a spirit, including a male blow up doll. You heard me.

One of the highlights of working your way through this particular hentai is watching the half-assed efforts of the editor to try and tone down the more controversial aspects of the movie, such as the extreme incest; in the first episode Hiroe cavorts about trying to climax with the help of an older girl who she calls ‘sister’, and later on their mother apparently joins the party.

Next episode? A series of sub-titles explains that although Hiroe may call these girls ‘sister’ and ‘mother’ they are in fact just, uh… close friends? These subtitles reappear at various points throughout F3, getting more and more entertaining each time. Mustn’t be missed..

But on a less sarcastic note, F3 does seem to be the kind of general animated suck and fuck fun that seems to appeal to all those well-adjusted members of society we know and love. It’s not exactly dire even if it’s not anything amazing, and I would most definitely tell you to give it a go.
