| This is a brief summary of the skeleton story, for three reasons. 1) This is an on going fic, so some things are definately going to change. 2) Reading the first few chapters as they come together are probably going to be really confusing. 3) Spoilers suck. I don't want to give anything away that is meant to be a surprise. That being said, here's a synopses of what I've got so far. Duo, while dreaming, is visited by Suzaku, the Phoenix God from Fushigi Yuugi. He awakes to discover that Heero had a similar dream involving Seiryuu. Heero takes the visions more seriously since he's from Japan and he's heard that legend of Miaka and the Suzaku Seven. Duo finds this hard to believe that Heero could buy into the 'magical book crap'. Duo explains that Suzaku told him that he must summon the goddess Nazo, the Hawk-fanifesting, Star-eyed, goddess of the South. To do this, as in the world of Fushigi Yuugi, there will be a needed Priestess. Guess who? That's right, once again I deliver fan-service above and beyond the average doses, providing serious reasons for Duo to dress in drag. After all this, the two guys discover that Duo somehow has the Book of the Universe of the Four Goddesses with him, and they of course, commence to reading it. As before with Miaka, the book is a spell which is initiated after the first page is read. However, unbeknownst to Duo, who by now has gotten sucked into it, the Universe of the Four Goddesses will not be reached by the Priestess until all seven of his Seishi have been found. Duo is plopped down into the world of Fushigi Yuugi, more specifically the house that Tasuki and Chichiri share, being the only surving members of the Suzaku Seven. (Note: This is taking place after the OVA's) After trying to explain how he got there and what he knows about the book, Duo is shocked to see that Tasuki has a copy of The Book of the Universe of the Four Goddesses. Taiitsu-kun gave it to him when the Seishi returned to their world and he came to the conclusion that he was born, was freaking born to serve as a Suzaku no Seishi, but it's all over with by the time he's eighteen. He wants a reason to live, to not feel as if his existance has already peaked. So she throws him the book, saying that after he's read it, that he'll have a purpose. However, the book has no title and won't open for him. When Duo arrives, apparently the title, 'Universe of the Four Goddesses' appeared. Duo was able to read it, and it was stated that Tasuki was to become a Nazo no Seishi. He's -to put it lightly- not to pleased with this, as he already went through enough for Suzaku. However, he knows that you can't fight destiny, so he goes along with it. That's all I'm going to state here, since that's going to be as obvious in the story as knowing that Tamahome was a Suzaku no Seishi. Trust me, I haven't given anything away. Now so that you might not be so confused, why don't you go take a reading at it! It'll be cool, I promise. |
