| Title: Christmas Eve Sarajevo Artist: Transiberian Orchestra Series: Gundam Wing Focus Theme: Endless Waltz Commentary: I thought that this song was extremley fitting for Endless Waltz since the majority of the OVA takes place on Christmas Eve. Also, the song has that modern rock style to it, making it quite easy to match and time with all the fight scenes. |
| Title: Stronger Artist: Briteny Spears Series: Shoujo Kakumei Utena Focus Theme: Anthy Commentary: I really don't like Britney Spears, but the first time I heard this song, it screamed 'Anthy' to me. I saw all these perfect opportunities for sword-drawing scenes. This one's far into production, and I think you'll like it. |
| Title: Tragic Kindom Artist: No Doubt Series: Shoujo Kakumei Utena Focus Theme: The Black Rose Saga Commentary: This song screamed Utena before I ever heard it. I saw the title and I thought, "Utena!" After listening to it, I couldn't stop mentally pairing it with the entire story of Black Rose. Mikage being the 'king', the hundred students being the 'people'; it was just too perfect. This is the project I'm putting all my time on and will be my masterpiece. |
