| That's right, we here at 'Shattered Enigma Productions' are looking for voice actors for the animated preview that is currently being planned for 'Divine Intervention'. This fanfic is written with the expectations that it will set new standards for cross-overs, so I've descided to do some funk-a-delick splicing and make a preview for this bad-boy. | If you haven't read the story yet, click on over here to check it out. For those who already know, yes, this is a yaoi story, and yes I need prodominantly male voice actors. However! If you're a girl, but can sound like the part, it's just as good!!! Just for the record, this won't be done for quite a little while, so don't think that I'm not gonna do it. | Character: Duo Lines: "Something about me being the 'Nazo no Miko' "The Book of the Universe of the Four Goddesses" "HEERO!" "My world..." "Where I came from, there was this huge war. There were no neutral parties, every nation and every group of people got sucked into it somehow. Out of all the soliders taking part in the battles, only myself and four other chosen fighters seemed to attract any attention. We piloted these things called "Gundams". We were notorious for messing up all the big-shots' plans." "I think it's safe to say that I'm a little less skeptical about this 'magic' of yours." "That's Nazo's light!" "Does this mean.....that you're a Nazo no Seishi?" "Who are you?!" "Never like this. Never EVER like this..." "Oh to HELL WITH IT ALL!!" "I am Shinigami." "I will never fight anyone again, I despise it and I won't do it for you, not for anyone!!" "....Tasuki...." "TASUKI!!" "NOOOOO!!!!" "Grant me the power to defend Nazo's name...." "...Heero....why Heero? Why? WHY?!?!?!" "Oh my God!" "*various panting noises, heavy breathing*" "Anythings possible...with divine intervention..." "My whole life has been building up to this. I was born for this..." Notes: Okay, Duo obviously has more lines than anyone. Why? 'Cause he's the main character. Der. What I'm looking for here is someone who can sound like the English dubbed version of Duo. This is for several reasons. First of all, it's more recognizable, and there are going to be scenes where you can't tell whose talking. It needs to obviously sound like Duo. Plus, I think it fits the lines more. If someone sends in the lines and it sounds kinda like him, but you do an awesome job, I'll consider it. Remember, he cares for Tasuki, so try to show that in the lines relating to him. |
| Character: Tasuki Lines: "Hey! Who the hell are you?!" "LEKKA-SHINNEN!!" "The Book of the Universe of the Four Goddesses..." "Well it's not exactly your fault if you're destined for some serious shit to happen to you." "Just about a week ago, those words appeared on it." "Oh, Taiits-kun, you old bitch and half!" "I can't be a servant to this goddess of yours! I already serve Suzaku!! Do you know what I went through to serve my god?! Could you possibly understand the emotional trials I've faced?? I don't think so! In fact, I think you can take you little cross-dressing-wannabe-priestess butt out of my house before anymore Suzaku-be-damned PORTALS show up in my LIVING ROOM!!" "As *weird* as it is, that guys a priestess. They have to be pure or whatever after all. 'Sides, like he's really be interested anyway. *deep sigh* Maybe I should just stop trying." "Blessed Suzaku...I looked like Tamahome..." "Oh please Duo, don't hate me..." "Holy shit!" "No...NO!!!" "Light of Nazo....guide the Priestess in his journey through the Other Worlds....head your medium and come forth!" "Divine intervention..." Notes: With Tasuki, either his dubbed or original Japanese voice will be considered. The most important thing is the slight accent he has on words ending with 'ing'. For exampling: runnin' instead of running; 'sides instead of besides. Plus, his emotions are as unpredictable as the weather, so no monotones! |
| Character: Heero Lines: "Divine intervention..." "Mission excepted." "What was your dream about?" "No one suspected that those under Suzaku's service would be recruited again to serve the Hawk Goddess..." "It can't be..." "No...DUO!!!" "I serve Ukyou now, Duo. Your betrayal has made me understand so much...." "I'm a solider. Nothing more." Notes: Heero once again, can sound like either the English or Japaneese voice actor. Either way, try to put extra 'emotion-less-ness' into it. Except for the lines where he's either shouting or shocked. We don't want it to sound TOO much like the dub. Keep in mind that you're impersonating to original, not taking your own take on it. |
| Character: Chichiri Lines: "Divine intervention, no da." "That's wonderful! I don't see why such a lovely young girl wouldn't want to be a priestess, no da!" "Go ahead and tell him. It involves him anyways, and it was only a matter of time before it came up, no da." "TASUKI!" "I'm sorry, Duo. I can't fight my destiny, no da." "I won't do it!" Notes: Preferably, I would like an imitation of the Japanese voice actor. Also, I want seriousness on the two lines not featuring 'no da'. He should still be somber on the second to last, and third one, too. |
| Character: Saionji Lines: "Divine intervention..." "I desire Eternity." "Then you die." Notes: Here I would prefer the Japanese voice. I just like it better. Saionji is extremly serious, but not monotone. Just full of dark emotion. |
| Character: Xellos Lines: "Divine intervention..." "Now THAT is a secret!" "You don't understand anything. This is bigger than any of us!" "I don't think you're ready for what this is all about." Notes: Personally, I don't care if you chose English or Japanese impersonations here. Your call. Just make sure that you are Xellos. |
| Character: Mikage Lines: "Divine intervention..." "Deeper...go deeper...I must...understand...I must...go...on!" "A Seishi..." Notes: You must be Mikage! Since he's never been heard in English, you've gotta sell this one. |
| Character: Kenshin Lines: "Divine intervention..." "Come Heero! Come take your place as the Priestess of Ukyou! Golden Stallion of the East!" "You know nothing." Notes: Be Kehshin; with a side of evil. Kenshin's a little twisted in this story, but try to keep in character. |
| Character: Suzaku Lines: "The one who claims to be a god...and the God of Death, no less!" "I am Suzaku!" "Divine intervention..." Notes: You must be so full of self-worth and pride that it will ooze out of my speakers! Speak slowly and deliberatly. |
| Character: Kuja Lines: "Divine intervention..." "Mwuhahahahaha!" "This act shall be mine..." Notes: Since we never actually hear Kuja speak in the game, you've got a lot of liberties here. PLEASE don't audition for this one unless you've played Final Fantasy 9! You have to really get into character. |
| Character: Spike Lines: "Divine intervention..." "They call me a cowboy..." "I only answer to one man. Me!" "Ain't no such thing." Notes: This can be done in the English or Japanese accent. I truely don't care. Just be Spike. |
| Character: Yohji Lines: "Divine intervention..." "Fighting is nothing. I would hope you of all people could understand that." "I don't believe in gods and goddesses. Only death. So I guess, only you." "Priestess huh?" "Celestial Warrior..." Notes: Preferably done in he Japanese actor's style. He just sounds more majestic. Back |
