| Character: Junjun Series: Sailormoon SuperS Style: manga version Debut: February 2001 Cons: Katsucon 007 Cost: about $40 Comments: Most of the costume was made from scratch, and mostly from pieces of fabric aquired from remnant racks and thrift stores. This was not a financially happy part of my life. The pants were already in my possession and needed to be altered. The top was altered from a sports bra bought at K-Mart, dyed green, and twisted beyond all recognition. Despite failed attempts, I couldn't seem to get my hair in the correct Junjun style, but no one recognized me anyway so I think it was okay the way it was. The page I found the image to the left on didn't put a caption our the characters - the other girl being Rose of Dark Muffins as Ghost in the Shell - when every other picture had one ^_^. Oh well. At least I found one at long last. Character Info: Junjun is a villan in the fourth season of Sailormoon, known as Sailormoon 'SuperS'. She is a member of the Amazoness Quartet, also consisting of Pallapalla, Vesves, and Cerecere. The names come from Roman goddesses. The Quartet is part of the Dead Moon Circus, the evil group of the story arc. After defeated by Sailormoon and SailorChibimoon, the four girls become the Asteroid Senshi (manga only) and Junjun becomes Sailorjuno. Sailorpallas, Sailorvesta and Sailorceres, along with Juno make up the group of sailor soliders that defend the new Princess Serenity (Chibi-Usagi) when Usagi becomes Neo-Queen Serenity. |
