Laugh, and you die. I was more or less recruited to play Super Sailormoon, and it is assuredly a costume I will never wear again. I don't care if I looked cute. I don't care that it was probably one of the best Sailormoon cosplays out there (I took pains, *PAINS* I tell you!), this is a once in a life-time opportunity to see Kyoryoku Nazo in school fuku. Never again. Never, ever, again.
I believe it's a first to see the Amazon Trio represented fully and well. I've never seen any of the characters done so...accurately! Kathy's gloves are definately my favorite part of her costume, Nicole is an amazing FishEye and Matt is a GUY! It takes guts to pull that off. Matt, we applaude you.
'Nuff said.
Even though she didn't have a part in the cosplay, Christina was a huge help at AMA. She was there for me when I first put on the fuku and upon seeing the result, *refused* to get out of my chair until someone brought me hose. She was there holding the hot-glue gun when the odangos were misbehaving. And hey, she made a sexy Wolfwood.
Michelle was by-far, the best Helios cosplayer I've ever seen. And she was equally glad to take the part and stand next to a Chibimoon that wasn't her ^_^. This picture is adorable. I can't even handle cuteness like that.
The phrase 'take one for the team' hits a new level. Danitra did *not* want to play Zirconia. I mean, who would? She's an old, wrinkly cockroach thing... But we love our Black Moon Sista, and she bit her lip and pulled it off really well.
So Patrick has the black glass mirror that works freakishly well for the whole Neherenia thing. As often seen in the series, we act out the process of gazing at Chibiusagi's beautiful dreams.
I would just like to reiderate on the awesomeness of Nicole's FishEye costume. For the record, she received an Honorable Mention for the costume during the Walk-On portion of the Masquerade.
The Queen chokes the crap out of Sailormoon, who had the wand aimed right at Neherenia's throat. Feel the love? And don't we look pretty?
