| And I was worried that we wouldn't win anything... The Dark Muffins cosplay group beat out own record from Katsucon last year and walked away with not one, not two, but three awards this year after taking the stage for the first time as Craftsmen level cosplayers. It just goes to show that even if you're doing a Sailormoon skit, the audience will love you if you do it WELL. We walked out of the Regency Hyatt with an Honorable Mention for Best Worksmanship in the Craftsmen level, a Judge's Award for performance, and the Best in Category Award for the Craftsmen level. As for future plans, all I'll diverge is that Otakon better get ready... we're not done yet. Now behold the simplistic beauty of the original season of Sailormoon... |

| The scene opens in the court of the Silver Moon Kingdom. Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion are attending a formal ball. |
| The shittenou and their respective senshi enter, starting with Kunzite and Princess Venus, followed by Nephrite and Princess Jupiter. |
| The next to enter are Zoisite and Princess Mercury and finally Jadeite and Princess Mars. |

| The representatives of the solar system take their places for what they assume will be a normal evening in the lives of the citizenes of the Silver Millenium |

| ...but the Prince senses danger and draws his sword to defend his Kingdom. |

| Amidst Serenity's court stands Queen Beryl, a powerful sorceress who was once part of the Moon Kingdom but was tempted by the forces of Metallia and the Dark Kingdom. |

| The shitennou are won over to Beryl's side, but before she can destory the Kingdom, the souls of the senshi are sealed away for a thousand years. The Princess awakens as Sailormoon. |

| When faced with danger, Sailormercury and Sailormars come to her aid. Both help her fight Jadeite, the first shitennou to challenge them. |

| After a duel between Nephrite and Sailorjupiter, Zoisite betrays his fellow shitennou, causing Nephrite to fall to his death. Kunzite watches from afar. |

| Once again, Sailormoon is aided by her senshi. Zoisite has been killed by Beryl herself and mourned by Kunzite, his lover. |

| Kunzite challenges the senshi and all seems lost until the enigmatic Sailor V comes to the scene and changes into Sailorvenus, the senshi of love and beauty. She fights Kunzite and defeats him temporarily. In an act of desperation, Beryl emerges from the shadows and resurrects her shitennou who seek our their respective senshi, taking each in a deadly embrace. |

| The eight warriors fall but are not defeated. Beryl, now convinced she can win, hypnotizes Endymion and takes him to her Kingdom. Sailormoon follows her there and finds him under her influence. She is forced to fight and kill her prince. In anguish, she raises her powers against Beryl and the two stand off. |
| Beryl has now been possesses with the spirit of Queen Metallia, the true power behind it all. The senshi hear the call of their princess and go to her aid to deliver the final strike. |
