     �Sharon?� Rick asked beginning to frown.
      �Yeah. I think she likes me too. So what happened to you?� Chad said.
      Rick quickly plastered a big grin on his face.
      �Oh...it wasn�t really anything important. I just wanted to tell you that...uh...I got an A on a quiz.� Rick softly mumbled, looking down at his feet.
      �Really?� Chad asked.
      Rick slowly nodded.
      �Uh, Rick? Are you okay?� Chad asked. �You look kind of queasy. Well...uh...I gotta go. See ya!�
      �Yeah...See ya.� Rick said watching Chad happily bound towards his house.
      The next day, Sharon went to the band room in the morning before the bell rang. For some odd reason, every was standing outside of the bandroom.
      �Uh...why is everyone outside?� Sharon asked.
      �Oh...that�s because Mr. Kidman hasn�t gotten here yet. He�s so slow and irresponsible. This does not kick ass,� a girl with brown hair and glasses said.
      �Look! There�s Kidman!� Fred Hill Binch yelled, pointing at a gold-colored lexus pulling into a faculty parking space.
      Kidman stepped out of his car and threw the band keys to Cici. She opened up the band room and a surge of people went rushing through the door to get to their lockers.
      �Uh...they sure are pushy, huh?� Sharon said to a short-haired girl wearing a black nWo shirt. The girl had reached for two flags and was doing the �Suck it� sign with the flags.
      �Oh, that�s Suzie Gotojima.� The girl with glasses said. �Don�t pay any attention to her. She�s obsessed with wrestling. I think she�s been too influenced by her boyfriend, Tom Haminaga. They both live for wrestling. I�m Andrea Takashima.�
      �Oh.� Sharon said, looking at Suzie.
Suddenly, the band room door opened and a red-faced dude walked in. Suzie immediately dropped the flags and ran toward him. She jumped into his arms and buried her head in his shoulder.
      �THAT�s Tom?� Sharon said, making a face.
    Boy, that Suzie sure has bad taste, Sharon thought to herself.
      �Uh, Sharon?� Andrea said.
      �What?� Sharon asked.
      �Can I ask you a question?� Andrea said.
      �Sure.� Sharon said.
      �Well...I have this love problem. I like two one guy is Jake and the other is Garth. I think I kind of like Garth more, but I�m afraid to ask him out because my friend Kelly will rub it in my face that she was right.�
      �Hmm...� Sharon said, contemplating over her decision. �You should go for it.�
      �Really?!� Andrea said, getting excited. �Then maybe we could double-date with you and Chad!�
      �Huh?!� Sharon said.
      �What?! You didn�t know? It�s so obvious that he likes you.� Andrea gushed.
      �really?� Sharon asked, starting to smile.
      Maybe I�ll ask him out, Sharon thought. I sure wouldn�t mind burying my head in his hair.
      Sharon�s train of thought was interrupted by a loud strain of swing music.
      �C�mon!� Suzie exclaimed, grabbing Tom�s hand. They started swing-dancing really off-beat.
      �Waah!� Andrea wailed, standing in the middle between Jake and Garth. �I can�t decide!�
      Andrea grabbed both of them by the hands and attempted to swing dance with both of them.
      Sharon smiled, laughing at the two of them. Suddenly, she felt someone tap her on her shoulder. She turned around and found herself staring up into Chad�s deep-brown eyes.
      �Would you care to dance?� Chad asked.
      Sharon turned bright red.
      �Uh...I don�t really know how to swing dance.� Sharon admitted.
      �Oh, that�s okay. I�m sort of learning too.� Chad said.
      �Well...okay!� Sharon exclaimed.
      She grabbed Chad�s hand and he taught her how to dance. Midway through the song, Chad leaned in closer and whispered in Sharon�s ear.
      �Do you want to go out with me?� Chad asked.
      �Uh...I�m not sure.� Sharon said. �I�ll tell you tomorrow.�
      Just then, the song ended.
      Sharon walked over to Andrea. She didn�t really feel like prying Suzie away from Tom.
      �Andrea? Chad just asked me out.� Sharon said. �What should I say?�
      �Um...well, it depends on how you feel.� Andrea said. �Do you like him?�
      �Yeah...� Sharon admitted.
      �Well then go for it.� Andrea said. �Chad�s a really nice guy.�
      �To some people...� Kelly said, walking up to them. �HI. I�m Kelly Oh.� Kelly stuck out her hand.
      �Hi.� Sharon said, shaking Kelly�s hand.
      �You should go for it.� Kelly said. �Chad needs a girlfriend. Maybe if he gets a life, then he�ll stop bothering others.�
      �Uh, okay.� Sharon said.
      �What are you doing?� Chad asked, coming up to them. �Go away!� He yelled, shoving Kelly away.               �Sharon, don�t believe whatever it was that she told you.�
     �See? He is a jerk!� Kelly yelled back.
      Chad thumbed his nose at Kelly. She stuck her tongue back at him.
      �What a dumbass.� Chad said, shaking his head.
      �Yes.� Sharon said.
      �Huh?� Chad asked, sounding confused.
      �Yes. I�ll go out with you.� Sharon said.
      �Really? Alright!� Chad exclaimed.
      Sharon smiled as she watched Chad tell his friends Charles Hu Bane, Jay Umachi, and Fred Hill Binch the news.
