A bit about the "Baka Neko":
Kyo has a secret.  When a member of the opposite sex hugs him, or makes him nervous, he transforms into a cat!  To make matters worse, he can transform back at any given time... totally naked! You can imagine what trouble this causes.

Kyo is one feisty kitty cat!  Always up for a challenge, especially if it's against his arch rival and cousin Yuki Sohma.  Kyo strives to do his best in everything he takes on, be it sport, martial arts or even cooking.

Kept away from the outside world all of his younger life, Kyo never really learned how to make friends. For this reason he is extremely jealous of Yuki having his own fan club!

Being the one cursed with the spirit of the cat is hard on Kyo.  He was shunned all his life by the rest of the Sohma family, who deemed him unworthy of them for being connected to the vengeful cat.

If you delve into Kyo's past, you'll find he's not such a jerk as he appears to be, but actually a quite nice guy who has a hard time being understood and is longing to be accepted.

One person who accepts Kyo for who and what he is, is Tohru Honda.  This extremely friendly brown-haired girl came into Kyo's life by moving in with his cousins Yuki and Shigure.  Kyo soon came to live with them and developed a crush on Tohru because of how kind she was to him, no matter how many times he called her 'stupid' or got mad at her for doing something ditzy.  The problem though, is that Yuki also has a crush on Tohru, making Kyo even more competitive to win her heart.  Although, Yuki and Kyo usually end up working together trying to protect Tohru from others because she trusts everyone way too easily.
