| Well.. I guess I'll start then.. :) Wicca has been my religion for about 1/2 years now. I didn't really know what it was before so I took the first step, I did research. I visited lots of sites and and red books. I realised that this was the religion for me, it felt 'good', personal. I have been thinking of making a site about it before and now I finally started :). To start: Wicca is not satanism. During the 18-hundreds a lot of people were burn for being 'a witch'. They said they dansed with the devil, drank blood etc. None of this is true. Even today a lot of people think of a witch as an old woman on a broom flying by the moon. They still think that wicca is a religion in witch they worship the devil and more of that sort. This is entirely NOT true. I will try to explain what wicca means to my, and how I follow my path. And I hope that some people will find it inspiring. Let it be noted that I do not try to convert people to my religion, if you have an interest in it, it should be chosen freely, and only if you are sure that wicca is the path you want to follow. I believe wicca is a very personal religion, every wicca I meet have there own believes about some things but most of them all agree on this, it is a personal religion. I believe in the power of nature itself, I believe that every thing is alive and has it's own personal energy. Besides that I believe in a divine essence, I believe in the God and the Goddess. For me they represent different things. The god is for me the earth itself, it's strong mass, it's strength. The goddess represents the sky, the stars in it, the waters that flow over the earth, all other life itself. I do not say that the god isn't life, for I believe it is. The goddess is the feminen side of it all, the wisdom. None of them is 'good' or 'evil', they are one, and they are seperate. Without good there is no evil and without evil there is no good. I do not believe in black and white magic, magic �s magic, no matter how it is used. And I believe in the threefold law of wicca. In wicca there is but one rule, as it is said in the wiccan rede : "And ye harm none, do as ye will." I do believe in this, no matter what time of spell you cast, it will come back to you in threefold. I also believe in reincarnation. Let me say again that this is a very personal religion, and that this is not what every wiccan believes, these are just my believes. I think that as a wiccan I should honour nature, not dump unbiodegradable stuff in my backyard and all. I still live with my folks so I can't do a lot but one day I will ^-^.
