Position explanations
Lady
The Lady is the one whom is on top of ALL. Nothing is done without her permission.
The position of the lady is always handed down through the bloodline.
This position is reserved for Females only. If there are two females in the family it is
not chosen by what daughter is oldest but which one is either stronger magically or
which of the two is born out of recognition.
The Lady is basically worshipped like a god. No matter if she is a good ruler or not
she will be thought of highly and akin to the gods of the island. She is the only one that
is allowed to perform the sacred rituals to the mother goddess and is needed to all
inhabitants of the mountain, actually all inhabitants of the Island.
Required; Blood right. –Fulltime-
The First Hand
This is the group that stands below the Lady and either advises the lady or has some high
position in the mountain. The First Hand is made up of the captains, supervisors, advisors,
you name it, that's them. This is the upper hand.
Organizer –
The organizer is the second in charge and is in charge of, you guessed it, organizing.
He or she, together with the lady, makes sure that everything runs smoothly. This position
needs no magicks and is only taken up by one that has the possibility to
organize. (Obviously) –Fulltime-
Watcher -
The Watcher does exactly as the name implies, it watches. He or she watches over the
Crawlers on a daily basis, this is what they spend their lives doing most often.
A Watcher must know every Crawler and everything that Crawler will be doing every day.
Can't let them just wander around now..
The Watcher is also the only one beside the Carers, the Soulseer and the Lady that
knows the Crawlers soulnames. –Fulltime-
Caller
A caller is sort of like a priest, he/she performs most of the rituals to the gods, except the
ones that the Lady performs. If he/she isn't performing the rituals but the Lady is then he/she
will be the one that stands by the Lady and helps her. Whenever he/she isn't doing rituals,
he/she goes about making sure that the god and especially the mother goddess is satisfied.
The caller often works closely with the Timeseer to try and interpret the gods words.
Required ; Skill : A complete belief in the gods and will dedicate their lives to
worshipping them. –Fulltime-
Seers -
Seers occupy 2 positions in the mountain. There are Timeseers and Soulseers.
Timeseers have the Magic of ‘Clairvoyance', which is necessary for his/her job.
Soulseers have the Magic of ‘….' Which is necessary for his/her job.
Soulseers;
Soulseers are advisers of the Lady and can see into an elf's soul (after and before birth).
A soulseer doesn't have a ‘fulltime job' with this, because off course there isn't
always a need to see into one's soul. They are most often called for when it is known that
a child is to be born, they have to know if the child is magic-born or not.

Timeseers;
Timeseers know what will happen in time, they practice this in many ways.
They are much like our Psychics, using many mediums to ‘see' the future.
This can also come in dreams and/or visions. Almost all the time these visions will make
no sense to the Seer at first, the pieces of the puzzle have to be put in place.
Timeseers are sought for advice, just like Psychics in our world. A Timeseer often has a fulltime
job giving advice though. (By fulltime I don't mean 24/7 off course, they _do_ have a life)
Required ; Magic : Clairvoyance. –Fulltime-
Carers –
Carers take care of all the unborn children in the holt, especially the Crawler children.
They alter their body's and minds, nearly mutilating it so it will fit the purpose they need for it.
Body;
This carer changes the childs brain to be able to admit the soulname, it changes the body of
the Fetus Crawler so that it may be stronger and have more use to the Starfarers.
This is a Parttime job as it obviously only deals with the changing of unborn children.
Most often a BodyCarer has as a Fulltime job something near the healing profession.
Required ; Flesh Shaping. –Parttime-
Mind;
A MindCarer takes care of what is most important when it comes to how the Crawlers are
subdued to the Starfarers powers, by giving it a soulname. Since Crawlers are naturally born
without any trickle of magic in their blood a soulname isn't there from the moment they are conceived,
so they are appointed one. A MindCarer is the one who does this job. Also a Parttime job,
be creative to what more you wish to have.
Required ; Magic: Hypnosis –Parttime-
Spy –
The spy is a wandering soul whom just so happens to have a body that can wander as well.
The spy is sent out to the Roamers regularly to be able to know what's going on with their enemy.
Required ; Skill: Reading & Writing. Long Range Sending is useful. –Fulltime-
Healer –
This Starfarer knows everything about healing. Herbal or otherwise. There are two sorts of healers,
magical and herbal healers. The first is rarer then the latter.
Required; Magic : Healing / Skill : Herbal Lore. –Fulltime-
Herbal Master –
This Starfarer knows all about herbs, plants, trees, everything that could possibly pass for Flora.
He/She knows most about this subject and teaches the Crawlers what to look out for when gathering.
Required ; Skill : Herbal Lore. –Fulltime-
Animal Master –
This Starfarer knows all about animals, all types of animals. They teach the Crawlers what types
of animals to set traps for and therefore go out with the gatherings.
Required ; Skill : Animal Lore. –Fulltime-
*Comment: One character might have knowledge of multiple things, but this is only for
the older characters. You don't just wake up and know something..*
Guard Captain –
The Guard Captain is rather self explanatory. He or she is the captain of the guards.
There are only a few people that he has to answer to, the Watcher, the Organizer and the Lady.

Knight Captain –
Captian of the Knights. Same rules that account for the Guard Captain.
Required; Nothing in particular –Fulltime-
Guards –
The guards are physically trained to be able to hold the Crawlers down should there be the need for it.
Required; Nothing in particular –Fulltime-
Knights –
Knights, who are trained to fight in the war whenever this is necessary.
Trained to be able to survive the treck to the woods and to still be able to fight afterwards.

New Hands –
These are the people in training, guards in training, everything in training.
Required ; Depends on what they are in training for.

Makers –
Makers contain everything like Cooks, Clothing Makers, Jewelers, Music makers and the like.
