When All Are One
by Kitsune Grey
Far across the distant space,
Far from this human race.
A battle for independance and freedom wages,
As it has been, for ages and ages.
Swords clash, as weapons fire,
And a squadron of jets streak ever higher.
A great evil decends upon that metal land,
Led by a ruler with an iron hand.
"Peace through tyranny!"
He did proclaim,
"Who seeks to challenge my name?!?"
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings!"
A single voice cried out...
A brave Knight?
A kindly King?
He was all of these things,
Of that there was no doubt.
A bard, and a poet,
He was a leader of the people,
Who just didn't know it.
His very soul, pure and clean.
In your heart you knew he could never be mean.
The voice stepped forewards,
With a spark of gold,
And a soul of steel.
The villain before him felt a rush could feel.
"So,the Prime has been chosen?
It does not matter, for soon you will be broken."
But behind him, and all around,
More voices cried out,
And more heroes were found.
Encouraged by the optimist,
Led into the light.
With a teacher before them,
They had found the will to fight.
Cowardness always consumes a black heart,
And immediately the monster did depart.
A cheer was heard throught the land,
The battle won by their own hand.
They learned much then and there,
When all are one, nothing can compare.
