Profile: Quartz comes form one of the well to do families of Paix. Quartz�s grandparent were very involved in Paix�s running and processed many abilities, leaving his parents a high standing on Paix. Quartz�s parents increased there standing, which adds to Quartz�s standing.
Quartz is considered quite a catch and many families have offer their daughter as brides to increase their own standing. Quartz has refused all offer and instead looked into
the Sisterhood for a bride. Kynight quietly summoned Quartz and questioned him about his feeling on her cousin, Eolian. Quartz was surprised because of the huge age different between himself and Eolian, but started to warm to the idea. Within a Transformer month (that�s 110 human days), Quartz went with Kynight to see Eolian�s mother, Sin. At first Sin refused Quartz, but Kynight backed Quartz and told Sin age wasn�t important. Eolian�s welfare, feelings, and standing was. Sin was quite for a while, then called her daughter, Eolian in and asked her about her feelings. Eolian blushed and glanced at
Kynight, who she had told about her feeling for Quartz months before. Eolian quietly stated she would be honored to become Quartz�s mate.
Sin was a bit surprised as she looked between her daughter and Kynight, knowing she and Quartz had been set up by the two . Sighing, Sin agreed, but stated Eolian was to
young at this point in time to mate. Kynight laughed as she quickly took on a priestly tone and issued a formal order of promise and stated a courtship had begun.
Quartz was pleased as he took Eolian out with Sin per mission as Kynight got an audio full from Sin about match making. With time Quartz and Eolian mated and had five children, but that is a story upon it�s self.
Quartz is a good politician and warrior, loyal to Pain and Kynight. Kynight has always thought of Quartz as a good friend and respected his judgment (though Quartz would liked more).
Abilities: In vehicular mode Quartz�s drill can penetrate nearly all materials know. The drill can also deflect most laser fire. Quart�s treads can be replace with space
vehicular tires that can travel across all terrain.
Quartz is equipped with a sensor/ communication system that allows him to determine his depth and hardness of the material he is drilling. (The sensor can also helps determine the composition of the material.) The sensor doubles as a communicator to the surface, which has a range of 20 mile.
Quartz is also equipped with a fine lasers to help cut materials when drilling, but it can also used as a weapon in battle. Quartz�s name does have some meaning in it.
Quartz is able to create quartz crystals which he fires from unit on his lower arms.
Weakness: Quartz has a slow vehicular mode as he is a construct vehicular. His drill gets overheated easily, forcing him to stop. Perhaps the only other weakness Quartz is his joy in a good argument and being a bit stubborn, and just maybe not liking his vehicular mode. Quartz can not have a Transformation chip , it is not compatible.
Hobbies: Quartz loves to explore and collect items for study, which is find by Eolian. The
tow make a great scientific team.
