I was thinking about Tom (riddle) and this came about-

Shedding the light

My heart thumps once and

a flash of pain

echoes though my body

The mortal realm it shall

pass as I ask for my

heart to be frozen and

soul to grow cold

I pledge to the darkness

and the darkness embraces

I am reborn with blood shed

Fear what lies within for

there is no light
