I left PA at 6:30am. The flight was very pleasant. I arrived in Florida at 8:40am to a waiting Mike Quevedo and Ozzy Mendez. Many hugs and smiles were given as we retrieved my luggage.
Then we drove two hours to their place and I fell asleep on their sofa after I meet all the pets; Pounce, Prowl, Simba, Moriah, Gadget and Marcus. Sorry about falling asleep, the flight really knocked me out.
After a bit Heather Feldman came home from work and we went out to eat. Mexican, very good. Then we went to see Shrek, it was a good movie, and the onion layers have stay with me to this day.
Later that night I got to meet Ozzy�s girlfriend, Crystal. We all hung out till it was time for bed.
Tuesday the 10th
Heather and Ozzy had to work so Mike and I headed out to the Ringling museum. The museum was quite interesting as we discovered a mistake while reading about the painting.
The painting was titled, "Allegory of Fire" by Jocopo and was about the Greek gods, Vulcan and Venus which are actually Roman Gods, so later in the week we e-mailed the museum about this mistake and we got a thank you from the museum too.
After everyone was settled we put in Car Robots 2000 and began to nit pick it till our eyes and brains couldn�t take any more.
Wednesday the 11th
was very exciting for me. We went to a wild life park,Myakka State Park. Mike, Heather and I went as Ozzy had a few things he had to do finish up before we left for Botcon.
Once we entered the park we saw wild turkeys, raccoon, deer and so many birds. It was beautiful. Then spiders were a little bone chilling.
Heather and Mike took me to this Tower, it was at least 6 story high! And huge! The spiders were everywhere and sorta freaky. The webs were across the bridge and we ran right into them. Though it was also lovely.
Then we headed to the boat tour. Once the air boat started, the rain started, but it was so lovely. Sorta like a dream. I saw my first alligator. Their are very graceful and scary. Like a creature out of time.

After the tour we did a little hiking and came across Turkey buzzards eatting-yuck. Then I saw this tiny frog only as bit as my fingernail! He was so cute. Then it started to rain, so we ran back to the outpost.
There I ordered everyone alligator to eat! It�s was okay, not sure what it tasted like, but it sure ain�t chicken! I don�t think I would get it again, not in the form we had it. (A quick thank you to Heather for pointed out that most interesting book.) We did try the beach but it just didn�t work. The lighting quickly drove us away, course the down pour didn�t help any.
Thursday the 12th
We left for Botcon, it seem to take forever to get to Durham. Many stops for gas, food, and potty breaks, make the trip 15 hours long. (An extra 3 hours to get there becasue it down poured all through South Carolina! They made it back home in 12 and 1/2hours.)
During the trip, Heather bought up the fact that Florida has a road side problem- buckets. I know this sounds very funny, but it is very true. So we had to count the buckets through the trip just to prove it.
Then after 15 hours on the road we arrived at the convention center. Thank goodness that the trip was over. Katy Edwards-White was waiting for me and I parted company with everyone as they had another hotel lined up.
Katy and I were very worried as our other roommates had not arrived that evening and didn�t till the next morning.

Friday the 13th
7:30am Sharon, Daryn and Tammy arrived and Katy left to visit her father. I went to the post office and then waited for Crystal, Ozzy, Heather, and Mike and we relaxed till it was time to check in for the convention, and then we meet up with Austin Welch for a bit.
Afterwards everyone; Heather, Mike, Ozzy, Crystal, Katy, went for something to eat and later Tammy joined up for a dip in the pool at the other hotel. Then we enjoyed Farscape and other programs on the sci-fi station.

Saturday the 14th
We (Katy and I) woke late but traveled down to the convention. The costume were so cool this year. Hats off to them. (Megatron actually patted me on the head!)

I joined up with Heather, Mike, Ozzy and Crystal at this time. After a day of panels and autographs, which took over three hours to get we need a break, so we went out to eat and then headed back to the other hotel and relaxed. Katy went to the staff party with a new friend.
Sunday the 15th
Found Katy and myself in the art room and dealer room, then onto the 3H panel after that we headed out to the other hotel once more.
Finally we returned and stayed up talking with Sharon, Daryn, Tammy and Erin (of the femmes unite) till the next morning.
Monday the 16th
Then we woke at 8am and began to get ready to leave. Katy and I were ready to leave, at 11ish. Then we began the trip to Katy�s home, which was about 2 hours away.
It was a bit later then we want to going and where a bit late, so Katy�s missed her appointment. But we did get to her house and got organized. I met Katy�s usband, Matt and then we ate. I also got to meet Katy�s parents puppies, as they were out of town at this time and we need to take care of them. Then we all relaxed in front of the TV as Katy and I both sewed.
Tuesday the 17th
The next morning we running around for a bit. Grocery store, made copies of items, and numerous other little things. Katy�s a wonderful cook and I enjoy home cooked meals.
Then we worked on our story till we couldn�t do anymore.
Wednesday the 18th
More running around and then off to Katy�s writing class, which was very information and I really enjoyed it.
Then more of our story and out to eat. Them more story till we dropped.
Thursday the 19th
Found us with the story once more and then off to the airport. I left with tears in my eyes and had a terrible flight home.
We had a caution light come on during the flight and it was bumpy. But I made it home. I miss you all, can�t wait till next year..... lots of love..... Kynight
