been an interesting journey. Seeing how people/ and the convention change, grow, and
even move backwards has truly been a learning experience for me. My ideas have
changed and well as my out look on life, and perhaps greatest of all my trust factor. As
meeting new people and seeing the old friends change I have come to the conclusion that Transformers fans are just as normal as everyone else in the world and not at all special as I first thought. Perhaps that is the most disappointing factor I have found. In all honesty the Convention become better and better while it seems that more unsavory factors have entered the fandom. More stealing at this convention proves it�s, I�m sad to say. Yes, I shake my head at this, as well as a few other things I have seen, and now wonder what will truly happen to our beloved Transformers as these unsavory factors appear more and more?
Gomes. We finished packing my car, Mike and Rich were dealers this
year and started our trip to Fort Wayne Indiana. We drove 6 hours through PA, and
entered Ohio, and drove for about 3 and half hours, then stopped and slept for about an
hour and half. I will say that I think the guys are some of the funniest people to travel
with making me laugh by telling stories ..... snicker, and the jokes they did.... it was a
good trip. Then we entered Indiana an hour later and about a hour and half later we got
to Fort Wayne.
room to sleep, which took me about 2 to 3 hours. Then I got up and began to phone
people, seems that no one was at the Hilton, ha, not..... course everyone was there, but
me! We got bumped to the Holiday Inn, nice though. We (as in Katy Edwards-White
and me) got a suite, three rooms, two phones and TV, and a tub to simply desire for your own place. Though it did takes both of us a long time to figure out how to get to our floor. Seems that the 14th floor needs a key, that you turn and then push the 14th floor button. But really I called and called for my friends at the Hilton and no one seem to be staying there... I�m not commenting on that, just that is some hotel there.
to let them know that I was there okay. Soon then after I got myself in line for
registration, and happened to meet up with Sharon, Drain, and Matt. I must say that I
love the way that 3H had everything set up! It was very well thought out.
was great to hear about projects and ideas on Transformers without being looked at like
you are a moron. Then I happen to run into Phillip Thorne who helped me last Botcon
with the art contest, he had these masks of the Quints that looks so cool!
and she was due in at 3pm. I got a hold of Mike and Rich for my art contest items and
entered them. There I saw Gyrph, Jen, Laura, Erin, and White Dove. Matt (Talon) came
back to the hotel with me as everyone got ready for the dinner party. Finally Katy
appeared and we screamed for a bit, I think Matt want to take cover at that point, her
flight had had some trouble.. ;-p We talked and talked and Austin appeared and we
talked more and then went for a walk... okay, my thoughts about Fort Wayne. It smelled like a sewer or Band-Aid most of the time. The streets were full of trash, as in bottles, cigarette butts, dead birds.... need I go on? The town left me cold and fairly disgusted.

the night... yeah... well, we ended up talking till about 2 am.. then we say that we are not talking anymore and going to sleep, course me and my stomach didn�t agree. I was up at 6am on Saturday, feeling funny. Finally Katy got up (after me running up and down to the bathroom most of the morning) about 7- 7:30- ish. Trying to get something in my stomach was the wrong idea, and a quick trip to the bathroom proved that point. To say the least I didn�t feel to well this Botcon.
could have been better company. Dealing room was okay, I really didn�t come for the
toys, I came to hang out with dear friends and see the voice actors. With all due honestly, I hate the organic core idea and have a great dis-taste for Beast Machine, so Botcon is losing some of it�s shine for me. I did love running around in my Kynight outfit, it simply pleased me. I ran into Julie, her boyfriend, Sarah and her other half, Tony B, Tony K, and I believe I saw Mat S around as well.

to the conclusion that if a fire alarm ring in the middle of the night you better have
enough rest or if you are driving. So we called it an early night and got up the next
morning, Sunday, to figure out how we were going to about checking out. Katy was
leaving at 1:30 and I was leaving after the convention ended. I got one for you, okay we go to check out and this blond behind the counter is waiting on us, we asked her to split the bill between us. She asked how do I do that? Well, the other lady said use the adding machine, she asked how? The other lady said by division..... then she had to help the blond to use the machine to split the hotel bill... ugh.. now I'm blond.. but I do know how to use the calculator!

see you next year. Then I went to the 3H panel, and hang out with Sarah and her
boyfriend. Then I sat with Erin and Magic for while, after the panel I collect the money
from the art contest items I sold. Then I headed out with Mike and Rich, stopped at a
mall to eat and meet up with some of their friends, then headed out. The trip back was
good. I do miss everyone and sorry for not being able to say good bye or hang with
everyone as I wanted too.
