        The Story of the Pegacorn
   There once was a pegasus. This pegasus was like no other pegasus before it. This pegasus has the largest wing span of all the pegasus'. Another thing that made this pegasus special was the fact that unlike other pegasus' that are white, this one was black. Blacker than the night that it would fly in.
    One day while the pegasus named BlackStar was hovering above a field in search of a grazing spot, he spied a beautiful snow white unicorn. The unicorn was grazing in a nearby patch of berry bushes. BlackStar intrigued by the beautiful unicorn flew down low and landed a few yards away from her. He casual walked up to her, and with his wings spread he caught her attention.
"Hello dark one" the white unicorn calmly and gently neighed. "What is your name, one that is as dark as the polished wood from the wood from an ebony tree? BlackStar through back his head and softly, but strongly replied,
"Fair, white unicorn, I am BlackStar, the only living black pegasus. What would you be called?" The white unicorn gazed into his eyes and then replied with some sadness,
"I am Elysian, after the Greek Elysian Fields. I am the only grown silver horned unicorn left in the world." Elysian looked down and away from BlackStar that was beginning to fall deeply in love. What BlackStar didn't know was that Elysian already was heir to be a mate to another unicorn, but she too in love with the dark stranger that she just met.
   After awhile Elysian left BlackStar and went back to her herd of other unicorns that had adopted her. While Elysian was heading back, BlackStar was silently following her overhead.
   When Elysian got back to her clan, she greeted and female elder. BlackStar figured that the elder was her adotive mother. While watching some more, BlackStar saw a male unicorn, coat as white as hers, with a golden horn, walk over to Elysian and nuzzle her in a mate type of way. This mad BlackStar very upset and jealous. He got all of his power and zoomed downward towards the male unicorn. The male unicorn was taken by suprised, but it was too late. BlackStar had tackled him and sent the unicorn sprawling on the ground. Though the unicorn wasn't dead, he was stunned slightly. Elysian leapt forward toward her soon to be mate's body. She stopped BlackStar from attacking him somemore.
   Elysian had argued with BlackStar for a long while until the male unicorn started to get up again. Elysian nuzzled him simpathetically and helped him get up. She stared into BlackStar's eyes with hatred but also with longing to be with him.
"How dare you attack me you outcast pegasus!" The male unicorn neighed also stamping his hoofs on the soft earth.
"Silence MountainSnow!" Elysian snapped at the pride ridden unicorn. Elysian trotted over to BlackStar and stayed by his side. Then together they walked off with the whole unicorn herd astonished and whispering outcast. Together they stayed for the night. They pronounced themselves mates for eternity under the stars.
   A few years after their meeting, Elysian was pregnaut and soon to deliver her first foal. Elysian was laying under a large Beech tree, with its silvery leaves swaying in the small wind, when it happened. She began to give birth. She was alone because BlackStar was off grazing in a green field a long ways off.
   That night when BlackStar returned their was Elysian and her newborn foal, that she named NebulaCloud. The foal had large wings that were folded against her body. Her coat was a iridescent black that also turned purple, blue, and silver. The foals eyes were red, as red as blood.
   That was the first pegacorn to ever to be born. As the pegacorn grew up, she began to develop a beautiful silver horn like her mother's and large wings like her father's.
