| September 1996 When I was 31 years old, I met my birth father for the first time. It was an extremely challenging and emotional quest for me. My father is also a huge Elvis fan...one of the many things we have in common. For the last 5 years, we have enjoyed getting to know each other and remaining in each other's lives. He has a wonderful wife who has supported our relationship, and who has welcomed my family into theirs with open arms. They are very special to me. I have written a book of poetry titled "To My Father With Love" , a daughter's poetry journal which is copywrited, and hope to publish one day. |
