| July 1st, 1881: born in Sanilac County the son of Michael and Catherine Walsh. July 6, 1913: Ordained and made assistant here to Rev. Anthony Burke at St. Philip. Succeeds Rev. Raymond Fleming as assistant. February 24, 1921: Assistant at St. Philip appointed pastor at Fenton. February 2, 1933: Here from Fenton, celebrates first mass as Pastor of St. Philips. He succeeds Rev. David L. Dillon, pastor since March 1, 1921. August 8, 1942: Is made Monsignor. Ceremony here. November 1, 1942: Reviewed in Enquirer by G.B. Dolliver. November 27, 1946: Age 65. Fatally stricken at alter at funeral for Dennis O'Callahan. |
