Mrs. Catherine Walsh, about 90, mother of the Rev. Fr. Maurice Walsh, pastor of St. Philip Catholic church, died late Friday night at her home in Tyre, Sanilac county. She had been confined to her bed for many months.
Mrs. Walsh was a life long resident of Tyre. Father Walsh went to her home Saturday and will celebrate the funeral mass at Port Austin, where Mrs. Walsh will be buried.
Besides Father Walsh, she is survived by two daughters, Anna, at home, and Mrs. Mary O'Shay of Tyre; and three other sons, Joseph of Detroit, Peter of Royal Oak, and Patrick of Tyre. |
