| Questions Q: Is yoga Hindu? A: No, yoga predates Hinduism by 1,000 years. Several religions have adopted some aspects of yoga. Q: Will the postures lead to a type of body-worship? A: No, like other physical forms of worship (fasting, meditation, simplicity, solitude, service, etc) we ask for Christ to lead us closer to Him. Q: Does "union" with God, mean trying to become "one" with God? A: No, in Holy Yoga we surrender to God, devote to Him, and unite with Him in purpose. Q: Is there a chance of spiritual compromise? A: Not in a Holy Yoga class. Our practice is centered around Jesus. It is immersed in prayer, the bible, & Christian music. Our focus & intention is wholly on connecting with Christ. |
