Diet:     Neon Tetra are Omnivores. They do well with flakes a the staple of their diet with freeze dried or live foods once in a while.

Tank Size:     Minimum Tank size for Neon Tetras should be 10 gallons. A 10 gallon is the minimum because Neon Tetra are schooling fish so the minimum you should have is 6 in a tank. They are much happier and less stressed, so the bigger the group the better.

Tankmates:     Some good tankmates for Neon Tetra are Corydora, Guppy, Smaller Tetra, Gourami, Female Beta, and other small bottom dwellers. Do not put Neon Tetra in a tank with Angelfish or other large fish. Great community fish, but best kept with smaller fish.
