This page isn't really meant for anything other than for me to be accountable to my weight and training regime. So you really have no need to read this at all, but if you really are that curious, go ahead.

In the silent comedies For the Love of the Dame and The Dingbat I was roughly 160-165 pounds. Then I BALOONED over the next year to become a whopping 193, for which I was for most of the duration of Spade on the River. 193 isn't going to cut it.
I really think Spade on the River would have been much more pleasurable had I been at a good weight. Nobody wants a chubby star in a movie, it's not easy on the eyes. For that reason, I've dedicated myself to getting back down to 165 for the 'Entertaining Angels.'
From Spring Break until last week, I weighed in at about 187 pounds, when I started me regime. My regime goes like this:
30 push-ups, 75 sit-ups before breakfast, which consists of a bowl of life cereal. I may have one healthy sandwhich for lunch or one hot dog, whichever I feel like. Before dinner, I must do 40 push-ups and 100 sit-ups. For dinner I may have one serving of whatever the mom cooks. I am allowed dessert once a week.
I may choose any of these to do up to three times a week: eat out, eat snacks, drink a coke. I may only have three priveleges each week, but I can choose whatever three I want. Once a day I can have either chocolate milk or a cookie.
Every other day I have to run 3-4 miles, and for every two times I do it I may earn an extra meal out, or a dessert of my choosing.

The goal is not just to lose weight, but to become more flexible, athletic, and toned as well. I don't just want to develope a runners body. The goal is to be well balanced.

As of today, 8-24-05, I weighed in at 182 pounds. Five pounds in a week isn't too bad, though I could lose more. I think my body is still adjusting to this new system. I can feel the difference immensely already, I have much more stamina in running and lifting. I haven't noticed a huge change in looks yet, though my face is looking a bit thinner. 165 OR BUST!

9-01-05: Weighed in at 180 pounds. Big freakin deal, lost two pounds! Actually it is a big deal, because during the middle of the week I inexplicably shot up to 189. How? I have no idea. But I've been running everyday and working out everyday and eating little. Maybe not as little as I should though, I still have room to cut back. Maybe after a cut back I can get to 165 more easily. Half way there, only fifteen pounds to go!

9-09-05: 179 this week. Man, I've got to do more. I'm very glad to have cracked the 170's, but I'm not losing weight very fast. I run every day now too, I don't know. I kinda slacked off on some things, I guess I'll just keep going and try harder. Oh well, 14 pounds to go.

9-03-05: I got to 167 at my lowest, and have hovered around 170 this whole year. But thank the Lord, I'm well trimmed and way more athletic than I've ever been, so I consider this goal accomplished. On film I look noticeable 25 pounds lighter than I did on Spade, so that's great. On the basketball court I can easily grab rim with 2 hands again, which I couldn't last year. Bragging yes, but I'm much faster and springier now. I still want to get down to 165, cause I think I'll be able to dunk with regularity at that weight.
